As the whole world moves to streaming, you can get used movies for cheap. Finding a DVD/Blu-ray player that's decent is a bit more challenging. The player work's well but without the remote some movies can not play. I would hope they will replace the remote.

A Blu-ray player is a rare need these days. I had a client that needed a Blu-ray player and wanted it to be a Samsung. In case you did not know Samsung has not made players in a few years and this seemed to be a good option. It works just great and I am sure will only get limited use. The player is in perfect condition cosmetically and works just as well. The remote also seems to be new. I had a little hiccup but the customer service is great. ... show more

Okay, I'm not returning this because, I bought it specifically for a friend who just had ANKLE SURGERY and is laid up for 4-6 weeks at home. Unit arrived with the POWER BUTTON obviously and physically broken and unusable... it CANNOT BE TURNED ON!! And did NOT need to be turned on to SEE this problem (see photos)! But they shipped it anyway. Yeah, life is good. I keep because it does play okay and can be turned on with the remote, or by opening/closing the tray, and MY FRIEND IS LAID UP *NOW* and does not have weeks for me to return/replace this. So good on you, seller, for selling a piece of crap that works just well enough that you get my money in a time of need. It mostly works... but 1 star because I cannot give ZERO for a defect so obvious it was apparent before PLUGGING IT IN!! Booooo. ... show more
