  • Beautiful Picture, Easy Setup, and Great Overall TV
Size: 55-Inch Style: TV Only
I’m very happy with this 55-inch TV! The setup was quick and easy, and I had it up and running in no time. The picture quality is sharp, the colors are vibrant, and everything looks fantastic whether I’m watching movies or regular TV. I still use my Roku Stick for streaming, just like I did with my previous Samsung Smart TV, so I haven’t really taken advantage of all of the built-in smart features. However, I did take some time to explore Samsung TV, and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of free channels and content available. There are some great viewing options if you decide to use the built-in platform. Overall, this TV has exceeded my expectations. Between the easy setup, excellent picture quality, and the added bonus of Samsung’s free channels, it’s a fantastic purchase that I would definitely recommend. ... show more

  • Very happy
Very nice TV. My husband and I were looking for a new TV. Our Sharp audios of 18 yrs had a couple of years left before it would completely pixel out. So we decided to get a new TV and our old Sharp tv went to your neighbor who had no TV at all, so we donated our TV to him with that in mind it probably only has 2 yrs left. He was just happy to have a tv ☺️. We're happy with our Samsung TV which has had no issues at all. The remote seems very sensitive and has some lag to it. I have roku with remotes and got them to set up so now we just use our roku remotes. As for the pictures quality excellent and streaming has been with no issues at all. The two gentlemen with Amazon were wonderful with setting up the TV and made sure that it was working and had no defects. The rest of the step up took some time especially when I was setting up with roku but in the end it all worked out well. As for the Samsung interface it was easy to use and I do use it from time to time. What amazes me is the color. It so bright and vivid. Using the camera dose not do the quality of the picture any justice at all. Just beautiful in person. I love my new Samsung TV, very happy with purchase. ... show more

  • AOP3D LOVES THIS TV 📺
Size: 65-Inch Style: TV Only
5-star review for the Samsung 65-Inch Class Crystal UHD CU8000F 4K Smart TV: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My Eyeballs Have Been Promoted to First Class I am officially ruined. I can never go back. This 65-inch Samsung masterpiece isn't just a TV; it's a portal to a dimension where everything is better-looking. My old 1080p TV, which I once thought was "pretty good," now looks like a potato-powered flip-book from the 1800s. Let's break down this life-changing rectangle of joy: The "MetalStream" Design First off, "MetalStream" sounds like a futuristic space-age alloy, and honestly, it might be. This thing is impossibly thin. When the box arrived, I was briefly convinced they forgot to put the TV in it. It's so sleek and minimal that it makes my entire living room look like it just got a promotion. My 2010-era entertainment center, which has the girth of a refrigerator, is now deeply embarrassed to be associated with it. The "Crystal" 4K Picture They call it "Crystal" 4K, and I think they mean it's powered by actual sorcery. The picture is so clear, it's almost too clear. * Pro: Watching a nature documentary on this is like being personally stalked by a jaguar. I saw a bead of sweat on a hummingbird's brow. * Con: I can now see every single pore, bad foundation match, and poorly-applied hair extension on the actors in my favorite shows. I now know which celebrities are lying about their age. The "Crystal Processor" is a truth serum for Hollywood. My dog spent the first 20 minutes barking at a dog in a commercial. He genuinely believed another dog was in the house. I had to comfort him. 10/10 for realism. "Endless Free Content" (A.K.A. The Productivity Killer) This is not a feature; it's a wonderful, glorious threat. Samsung TV Plus offers so much free content that my social life has evaporated. My "To-Do" list has been replaced by a "To-Watch" list that is now 400 hours long. I've discovered channels I never knew I needed, like "The 24/7 Bonfire Channel" and "Classic 90s Game Shows." Goodbye, responsibilities. Goodbye, sleep. I live here now. Alexa Built-in (My New Best Friend) I no longer have to search for the remote that my couch inevitably swallowed. I just talk to the air like a benevolent monarch. "Alexa, play that show with the dragons." "Alexa, what's the weather?" "Alexa, tell my boss I'm not coming in." It can't do that last one... yet. But it will dim my smart lights for me when I command it to "set the mood for maximum binge-watching," which is basically the same thing. Having someone (or something) finally listen to me is a 5-star experience in itself. Knox Security I don't know what kind of digital boogeymen are trying to hack my streaming queue, but I sleep soundly knowing my TV is a high-security digital fortress. Fort Knox has nothing on my Gilmore Girls marathon. My viewing habits are safe. Conclusion: This TV has single-handedly improved my quality of life, ruined all other screens for me, and convinced my dog we have ghosts. It's bright, it's scary-smart, and it's so beautiful I might just leave it my will. 5/5 Stars. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who is ready to permanently fuse with their sofa. ... show more

I must say Amazon really came through with this order. The first TV I received arrived damaged, but after contacting Amazon customer service, they quickly sent a replacement with no hassle. The replacement arrived in perfect condition, and I couldn't be happier. The picture quality is excellent—true 4K with impressive clarity and depth that almost gives a subtle 3D effect. The overall quality has exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. The only minor drawback is that the sound is a bit lower compared to my previous Samsung TV, so I have to turn the volume up a little more. Other than that, it's a fantastic TV and an excellent value for the money. I would definitely recommend it. ... show more

  • 5 minutes of setup and it's perfect. GREAT FOR HOME ASSSITANT
Size: 43-Inch Style: TV Only
This is my second Samsung Smart TV. As such, I already had the Smart Things app on my phone. I don't even know if you can setup the TV without it, but having the app allows you to control the TV if you lose the remote. Anyways, if it's needed to run the thing, that'd be annoying to some I'm sure. You can delete the app at any rate after setup. To address some concerns in the negative review category - By default the TV starts playing ad-filled Samsung streaming blah blah. You can turn it off in settings, and have it start on your last used input or the home screen. - By default, the TV spies on you (like all smart TVs). You can turn it off in settings (though it says it takes 15 days after you click the button). If you don't trust it, you can just use a Roku for $30 - For a smart TV, the menu is pretty responsive. It's not as good as my phone or my NVidia shield or even a moderate-end Roku but good enough - I saw a complaint about now audio output. HDMI1 has eARC - HDMI 2 and 3 would protrude from the back but the power-cord, HDMI1, and coax(cable/antenna) are concealed, meaning it can flushmount unless you use HDMI 2 and 3. - My unit shipped with no damage My personal Pros: - Good Price for 4K and a great display - Works easily and perfectly with home assistant - you can change source, turn it on/off, adjust volume. It's not as feature-rich as an android-based TV where you can control nearly anything but you usually need to be pretty savvy to do that anyway (sending ADP commands et al). Automatically detects TV on the network - Smart TV computer inside is WAY more responsive than my fireTV at same price point - Smart TV software allows you to customize better-eliminating ads, allowing to startup away from their software, etc - Smart TV software includes a plethora of app options but does not include Jellyfin. It has plex and all the streaming services I'd ever want to use though. - Sound is surprisingly good for a TV. Gets loud and does not distort dialog. I bought a cheap bluetooth speaker for the TV it replaced and I don't think I'll use it. - Pretty darn easy to use and change all the settings. Seamless pairing/sync/registration/whatever once you get the samsung app on your phone - 3 HDMI inputs was more than I'd expected Cons: - 100x100 vesa mount is a little excessive given how light it is, you may need an adapter which is like $10 - Bog standard Android TV would be nice for ultimate open source and features. Roku makes a better product as well - On my last Samsung smart TV, I had to re-add it to home assistant after a software update. I'm not sure that's an issue with this one or if it'll happen again but that broke all my automations. - Defaulting to their broadcast ad-filled nonsense and with spyware enabled is a bit of annoying. However if taxing people who can't spend 3 minutes in settings (see the silly negative reviews) to reduce the price I clearly benefit. - App download to setup with no obvious way to bypass (if there is one) is a bit silly as well. - USB port only does 0.5amps (2.5 watts) and only works when TV is on ... show more

  • Just buy this TV already
Packaged very well. It's very lightweight, but study once you add the feet. No tools required. Feet just snap in place. It was a little hard to find the plugin for the power as it's in the center of the back of the TV under a lip and turned on it's side. Screen takes up most of the size and very little boarder. Excellent picture quality. It has tons of features and taps into all your apps that you've already been subscribing to. Easy hook up to rooko, firestick, fire tv ready, etc. It takes you no time at all to program it. 4K Max will blow you away. It makes remastered old movies come to life like they were just created. Even old black and white shows. I got it at a great price and it's well worth it. It has some great sound controls so you're no longer getting blasted by background music and can actually hear actors talking. That's just highly annoying which seems to be a common occurrence these days with most shows and movies. The sound is very clear and easily heard from in front or from the next room or two if you have it loud enough. No muffling at all. No more super loud ads either. That's enough to drive you nuts. Those days are gone. Love the fact that his as enough ports to expand on it to a media center of your home or apartment. After a few weeks of use, this is definitely the best TV I've ever owned. ... show more

  • Great picture, the rest, not so much!
We haven't owned this for even a week yet. I'm giving three stars for a few reasons. The picture quality is great. The setup, not great. Finding out that the crystal uhd models don't have fiber optic audio outputs, super not great. My husband and I have bought Vizio tvs since our first hd tv (that my mom still uses). They were cheap, easy to use and the picture quality was good. We just had our most recent Vizio smart tv go out on us after about 5 years. We decided to try Samsung figuring the quality may be better, and therefore last a little longer. I deeply regret that decision now. We had a Vizio sound bar and sub woofer that was older, but sounded great still. We had to buy a new sound bar and sub woofer because the Samsung tv ONLY connects through Bluetooth. There is NO fiber optic input. The Bluetooth was to old to connect on the Vizio sound bar. The remote for the tv is bad. The options for adjusting the picture and sound are limited in comparison to the Vizio we had. And, here's something really dumbfounding, the tv has an option for this Q symphony sync special audio thing, that can only work if the soundbar is hooked up with a fiber optic cable! Which is impossible to do! Also, having to scan a bar code and use an app wasn't hard, necessarily, but so tedious and much more difficult and time consuming to set up than the Vizio. Overall, if we could do it all again, we would just buy another Vizio. Hopefully, the picture and possible longevity will make it at least a little worth it. We were both very disappointed, we both like Samsung. We both use their smart phones, which was the reason we tried their tv. I was just really let down by the bad design and poor quality, especially of the remote. My husband finally, after several minutes, figured out how to turn the volume up and down. He had to show me because I didn't get it. I also keep hitting the stupid Netflix button by accident. (Which is really inconvenient, since we canceled years ago). Sorry about the long review, but I was just that let down. ... show more
