I never liked the tv-over-the-mantel look so this was the big compromise between my husband and I - he gets a new tv and I get artwork when we’re not watching. Pictures do not do it justice! The artwork has no glare, and there’s a huge selection in the Samsung art store that I constantly have on rotation. The tv of course looks great - very flat, lightweight. The only hiccup was setting everything up through the remote and the phone app - took us a little bit but we figured it out. Be aware that you must purchase a frame for the tv separately and that will add up. Would I buy it again? Yes! Great tv. Very happy with this purchase. Instructions not that great but we have the internet, so that works. I did look some things up on line before mounting on the wall so I could get a good overview of how to do it. Suggest doing that before mounting, don’t rush it, take your time. I’m a grandma and I managed it. Color quality is great. Sound is good. Took some time to adjust to how the remote works, not because anything is wrong with it, it’s just new. Paired with Alexa and I can tell her to go to Netflix, etc., I like that. Art feature is fabulous. I bought/downloaded a few pics from Etsy and some of my photos. I did not buy/subscribe to Samsungs Art, I might in future. It’s a lot of fun to be able to change the art on the wall (tv) to fit my mood. Overall very happy with this purchase. "I've been a loyal Amazon customer for years, always trusting in their service. However, my recent experience with both Amazon and Samsung has left me incredibly disappointed. I purchased a TV from Samsung through Amazon and hired a professional installer to mount it. Everything seemed fine until the One Connect box failed to work. When I contacted Amazon's customer service for assistance, I was met with rudeness and unhelpfulness. Instead of resolving the issue, they directed me to return it, at my age, I needed then to hire someone to not only re-package this but send it back. TV's are large. I am 78 years old. Samsung, which I had already contacted without success. To make matters worse, Samsung insisted on the TV's serial number, which was only accessible after the TV had been mounted. Removing the TV from the wall was a major inconvenience, and even then, Samsung's demands for additional information made the process feel like a frustrating comedy of errors. After wasting more time and energy, I finally secured a date for a Samsung technician to come out next week. However, I'll now have to pay my installer to return and complete the setup, adding to the frustration and inconvenience. This experience has shattered my confidence in both Amazon and Samsung's customer service. My advice to others is to consider purchasing from retailers like Costco, where superior customer service is a given. As for buying TVs from Amazon or Samsung, I strongly advise against it based on my regrettable experience. I've never felt compelled to leave a negative review before, but this ordeal has pushed me to share my frustration. If my installer hadn't still been on hand, I would have been completely stranded. It's a disheartening realization that even longstanding trust can be shattered by such poor service." ... show more

    • Great TV but an extremely stressful experience

The Good: - Purchased open box 55" Frame TV from Walts TV which was great for the price - TV picture and performance is awesome for the price - The Samsung app experience is decent when compared with Roku (great) and Google (terrible) The Good to Know: - Be sure you remove the battery tab from the remote and charge it FULLY (via USB-C) before expecting anything (wow we struggled trying even 30min of charging and the remote blinking red and doing nothing. You'll know it's charged when the red charge light goes out.) - Use a fine microfiber cloth to clean the screen, you may need to slightly dampen it to get fingerprint oil off - Use clean latex gloves etc. when handling the TV to avoid prints The Bad & Ugly - In general, for such an expensive TV, the setup instructions were lacking on some obvious stuff to help get things going faster - For us, experienced in mounting TVs and light carpentry, the phillips head screws could lock in studs HARD before they are in all the way. It's terrible and easy to round out the screw head if you're not careful backing it out. I've seen this issue elsewhere, we ended up using custom, flush top hex screws to hold the mount securely. - If you get art for the Frame TV from Etsy etc., upload them one-at-a-time, otherwise you lose the ability to not have a matte border - bulk uploads lose this for some reason. So can't give it a full 5 stars, TV is great, the deal from Walts was great, but sheesh, just the small stuff really added more stress than expected. ... show more

Excellent picture and overall coolness. However, tried to plug in the Nintendo switch and it wouldn’t sync. Got all grainy and sketchy. Tried a few different HDMI cables and still no dice. Not a big deal because it’s not our primary device but a bit alarming.

We love our frame TV! It was a super easy set up. The mount isn’t great- but I’m also paranoid it will fall off the wall. Decent weight- not much difference from our old TV. Great sound!
