Picture quality is phenomenal - for World Cup matches you think you are in the stadium seeing it in person!!! The colors are crisp and vibrant. The best part is the no glare screen. My dh complained daily about not being able to see movies on our previous tv screen — not an issue anymore. He tested it thoroughly - blinds opened, closed - then slats partially open and more open then more closed. I was afraid our neighbors would think we were sending a distress signal, lol. Very very out of focus and muddy, with blooming and pixelation in the mid black range. My genre is Horror and OLED’s , and I’ve tried a few, ALL have the same problem with the mid black range. I’ve returned every one and I’ve tried ALL of the top of the line OLED’s. Horror movies/shows are literally unwatchable due to this. True blacks are awesome but anything that’s in shadow looks horrible. It’s great for sports and bright colored stuff but anything dark is unwatchable. ... show more

The S90H is technically impressive, but it's so absolutely user-hostile that it deserves a negative review. Samsung has made a number of explicit decisions on the software side to extremely compromise the user experience in pursuit of further monetization. • Every time you turn on your TV or close another app, your screen is hijacked by "Samsung TV Plus" that autoplays a bunch of trash TV that you don't care about. There used to be a way to disable this, but Samsung has since removed all control over it so you don't have a choice anymore. Even if you disable the "Samsung TV Plus autoplay" option, it still autoplays because Samsung considers Samsung TV Plus the last app that autoplayed regardless of what app was open last. • The first time you plug in and turn on a PlayStation, the TV will disable the current HDMI channel and take you to "Samsung Games Hub" and try to convince you to use that instead. This seems like clearly anti-competitive practice to me, and I hope the FTC will investigate. • No way to customize your home screen to remove pages upon pages of monetized garbage that Samsung would like to feed you. • You can't install an app without creating a Samsung account. Even with a Samsung account, the hoops you have to go through to install an app that didn't pad Samsung's pockets are considerable. • Collects and sells your personal data and viewing info by default. You can disable this by diving deep into the privacy settings, but the setting is hard to find and it's clear that Samsung has designed it this way on purpose. The bottom line is that you don't own your new Samsung TV. Samsung does. I will not be buying from Samsung again and you shouldn't either. ... show more
