I've been looking for a set of ditch lights for my truck that wouldn't break the bank. Further, I was wanting something that had more of a compact rectangular shape like these as I wanted to install them in a bit more unique location. I was hoping to avoid adding brackets and mounting to the standard A Pillar location, and wanted something a little more stealth. Saw a couple other people do installs with other lights on the Tow Mirrors and like the idea of that. After receiving these, test fitting them, and firing them up with 12V battery, I think these will work perfectly. I'm planning to install them on the static part of the tow mirror as pictured, and will probably just affix them using some decent 3M adhesive tape. They fit the tow mirrors on the Ford Super Duty perfectly. As to fit, finish, and performance here's my additional observations: -The main body is nice quality black powder-coat with metal body. There's a typical metal heatsink design on back side and seems like it does decent job as while they get warm like any high power light, they never seemed to exceed a concerning temperature. I left them plugged in and running for about 10 minutes and measured temperate topped out around 130F at back of body. This was just sitting in room temp garage with zero circulation as well, so I'd expect them to run a little cooler during real-world application. -The design and angle of the light and each LED chip seems to put out a really nice white color. No yellowing was noticed. The orientation of the chips casts both a nice wide beam, and also has pretty good distance. These aren't giant spotlights, and aren't meant to be, but sitting in garage with lights out, it easily illuminates about 40 ft length of both garage bays. -It includes two brackets and hardware for attaching the tiltable bracket to each light. The brackets are fairly simple, but should work fine for various applications. I'm not going to be using them myself however as the light doesn't fit my install location with the bracket on. Also, it would have been better if the bracket was black, instead of silver polished. -Power draw on them is well within spec advertised. Each light maintained a draw under 1.3amps according to DC clamp meter (about 16 watts each). Couple Cons: -I'm not a super fan of the 'HOZILIFE' white lettering on front. Would prefer any branding not be stuck right to front and isn't very attractive. Will probably end up hitting it with some black paint to cover the test before mounting. -The Lense on light doesn't feel extremely robust and is plastic. Not sure how it will hold up to impacts and handle UV once exposed to elements, so time will tell on that. I'm not especially concerned for my application as it should be pretty well protected given my install location, and being garage stored. ... show more

I got these to mount to the back of my 8' trailer. I wired it to the reverse lights of my vehicle with a 5 pin flat plug so when I put the towing vehicle in reverse, these lights come on. I was initially planning to mount one on each side of the trailer, but I did 1 to start with so at least I'd have some light. I figured I'd mount the other one at a later date. However, these lights are bright enough that I may not end up mounting and wiring the other one to the trailer. I'll see how things work when actually backing up with this at night. It comes with nice mounting hardware and is very easy to mount. All you need is a hole in whatever you're mounting it to for the mounting bolt to go through.
