    • Beautiful and works well....
This refrigerator is very pretty and has the features I was looking for. However, the hose to hook it up to water is too short, there is no butter compartment, no egg compartment and there is no tray under the water spicket to catch the drips which won't stop dripping. So make sure to order a hose long enough to connect it to your water source. Also buy a little tray to catch the drips, an egg tray and a butter tray. ... show more

    • Avoid Samsung-ice makers freeze up
I am a Samsung guy. Every car stereo, TV, and phone has been Samsung so when it came time to get a fridge, and I saw Samsung also makes them, it was a no-brainer. What a mistake! The ice makers freeze up on these and the service tech comes out and replaces the ice maker and tells me he will see me in 6 months as he just shook his head. He knew there was no fix.     • Don’t buy it .
Ok, I wanted the biggest and best fridge for the price. This was it. However, it is totally and completely true that this fridge leaks water from its ice maker. My floor was always wet by the fridge until the ice maker quit altogether!! Now no ice at all. We have been troubleshooting as I write this and looking for parts. Also, there has been a limited amount of ice as it’s a very small chamber. My fridge is 3 years old. I bought at Home Depot not Amazon, for clarification. Im here looking for parts and left a review. Two stars because I’m nice but I hate this fridge. It seems small for all its cubic feet. Thanks ... show more

    • Run the other way. Fast!
Within the past four weeks, we bought as-Is and moved into a single-family house containing this fridge/freezer, which according to the unit labeling was made in December 2021. Two days ago, the unit, whose six-month warranty expired this June, died altogether. The cost to repair it - if repair would even be possible - would likely cost at least the same as buying a brand-new, still-under-warranty unit. Bottom line: When a manufacturer provides a warranty of only 6 months on a large appliance that may die shortly after the warranty expires, run the other way. Fast! To make matters worse, this manufacturer's customer-support service provides anything but good support and good service. The new fridge/freezer we bought today is from a manufacturer that stands by its products. In our previous home, which has the same brand/model we have ordered for our new home, that unit has worked like a charm - except for one instance when an electrical wire for the dashboard display broke. A repair person dressed in workclothes bearing the manufacturer's branding responded the same day we called for help, and diagnosed and fixed the problem within that same hour. That, folks, is what builds and maintains customer loyalty and satisfaction. ... show more

    • Nothing but proglems; NOT finger-print resistant
Icemaker and water dispenser didn't work. Freezer is 15-20 degrees too cold, meaning ice cream is a brick and can't be served. First technician (Bene Tech) was terrible and couldn't fix either problem; they stopped responding to us and then said we needed to start over. Requested different company and got SmartCare; they were great. Got water dispenser and icemaker working on first visit. However, after replacing all pertinent parts, freezer is still much too cold. I think we will have to live with it. As for "fingerprint resistant," that couldn't be farther from the truth; front of fridge smudges horribly. On a positive note, Samsung customer service reps were very nice and set up warranty service right away, so they do stand by their product. ... show more

    • Noisiest refrigerator ever
Do not buy this garbage!!! It’ll keep your foods nice and cold when you’d like but the darn thing goes overboard and the fans freeze up on more than regular basis. The power defrost modes don’t do much to help. When you try and get customer support they talk to you like you’re the idiot. When they want you to reset more stuff to fix the issue, you’re asked to basicly disassemble your fridge in order to get to the fan. Only for it to happen again a few months later. DO NOT BUY!!!! ... show more

    • Horrible, useless ice maker, not fingerprint resistant
I hate this refrigerator. The door ice dispenser is the only way to get ice, no ice container inside, and after getting a half cup of ice, it spews water! One icy drink per day is just wrong. And the outside always looks bad because every last fingerprint shows up clearly and cleaning it just smears it around. Just plain lies from Samsung and I wish I could afford to replace this machine. As another reviewer mentioned, no egg tray, no way to stop water and ice from spilling onto the floor -- very, very poorly designed. ... show more
