Very beautiful in color and perfect beachy vibe. This is the duvet cover. I have a super soft comforter but it'd old and ugly. Still it's an amazing sleep aid but I needed to dress up my room and wanted to go coastal.... LOL. This duvet cover is stiff but remarkably soft in its own right. Just not as cozy as my oldie. So I spread this cover over the top of my old standby (kind of like a bedspread). At night I fold this beauty back and sleep with old faithful near my skin. I live in Florida. Been looking for a bedspread but it's become impossible. "Comforters" are not comforting when you wake up drenched in sweat. Even so called "lightweight" comforters are too hot. Chenille bedspreads are to "Grandma". Linen bedspreads are too thin (you can see the sheets underneath). I searched high and low. Finally, I thought to search for duvet covers (without the filling). I was familiar with the Tommy Bahama brand so gave it a chance. I was so excited when it arrived a day early and it fits my king-sized bed perfectly. This duvet cover makes me smile every time I enter the room. It is 100% cotton and has a linen-like look and texture which adds to the tropical feel. The colors are perfect shades for our main bedroom of blue, kaki, and off-white Although the entryway to insert a comforter or blanket has buttons/buttonholes rather than a zipper, it's not a deal breaker for us. This pattern is even better in person! Perfect for rental in Florida. Online it looked like there was a lot more gray, but it's almost more of a greige leaning towards more beige undertone.

I purchased the king size comforter set and it came with standard shams instead of king. Amazon helped me by compensating a bit - so I purchased this duvet cover set. It did come with the correct shams and I used the fabric to make curtains and an extra tan pillow. Turned out great - I would say so myself. lol. The fabric is really a nice and heavy, yet soft. This was cheaper than the comforter set, so if you already have a comforter, you can change the whole look of a room and cover it. I’d recommend! So pretty!! ... show more
