Bought it 5 months ago and couldn't be happier. I read some of the reviews and was a little nervous to buy it but 5 months in I can tell you it exceeds all expectations and I use it daily. I own a few of the Samsung 8k TVs and the picture on the projector isn't as quite as good as the TVs but I did not expect it to be since its a projector. However, it is still 130 inches of a fantastic picture and one of my favorite purchases I've ever made. I use it for mostly work presentations but it is like having your own personal movie theater. NOTE: The picture was a little distorted in the corners at first but it worked itself out within a couple weeks. The distortions in the corners were very minor and not enough for me to consider return. Also, I am not going to nominate the sound for any awards. If your intentions are to use this as a full blown movie theater I would look into a surround sound system. ... show more

Nice build quality. Nice Picture. Works decent with games, though lag is noted when not in game mode on fast shooter games. Picture colors and tone is much better in person than all reviews on the web. The only real complaint is no fan filter noted. No lens shift to side. Samsung canned customer service sucks real bad. Screens for this type of projector can be VERY EXPENSIVE. ... show more

To use the Samsung Premiere UST Projector SP-LSP9TFAXZA. -Need to remove popup "accept terms & conditions". -Result: "The server is under maintenance. Please try again later. (2014509-1). -Samsung support unable to fix issue after days of interaction. -Amazon technical team put me into contact with the seller twice. -Seller told me to talk to Amazon as they can not help as sold by Amazon. -I contacted Samsung on my own who advised me they are unable to remote in and update the software themselves due to the error. -Samsung asked for me to send the item to a warehouse in America. Then they will send to that location a form. Then I can send the item to them. -All riduclous for a new item. -To try to fix the issue myself: -For internet: I tried using my mobile phone with a VPN. Wired & wireless connections. -Tried upgrading firmware from Firmware 1407 via USB various ways. But the software displays: "latest version" and refuses to update (but latest version I downloaded is Firmware 2202). -This occurs from first installation using the remote or using mobile phone. -So reseting to factory defaults merely results into the same repeating process. Amazon will not respect the refund policy easily.... It will take you weeks and days of communique until they force you to pay more.... I think Amazon don't want to pay for return shipping. But that wasn't made clear to me. Just very difficult to return the defective item. ... show more

I have gone through the whole gamut of sub $6,000 4k laser projectors. The Samsung despite the age of its release is night and day superior to offerings from LG, Optoma, Vava, Epson & Xigmi and ForMovie. Its a bit of a toss up of which I like better vs the AWOL vision. The Samsung Premiere is Sharper in focus than all the others by far due to its larger TI Chip. There is a very minor amount of additional "Laser Speckle" with the Samsung that the AWOL does not have, but the interface is so much better than the AWOL. And the speckle is only noticeable from a couple of feet, and unless I point it out exactly nobody has noticed. Brightness is FANTASTIC on this. I had an epson that advertised 5000 lumen, and this is easily brighter. The true RGB lasers in this means the color is superior to all, and equal to the Vava Chroma & Awol. Most manufacturers use an RBB laser and use a filter on the second blue laser to create green. This results in inferior color reproduction and lower perceived brightness. ... show more

Superb image... for a price. Samsung software is a pain (we used an Apple TV to avoid it). Failed after 5 years and Samsung does not repair: only propose an exchange with limited warranty for close to market price. Summary: if you do not find a way to have it under warranty for expected lifetime then Samsung high price, low reliability and inability to repair is a no-go. ... show more

This is a great projector ever. Easy to use, work just like Samsung smart TV. Images quality is excellent. Worth the price. Always got a lot of compliments. I love this project and it fits 145" screen in my basement. I've been using it for 7 months already, no problem at all.
