  • Cost effective
First off, I have a bunch of Stihl chainsaws. I would rate this equivalent to a Farm Boss chainsaw by Stihl. The difference is about $300.00 savings in your pocket. I have used it aggressively since receiving it. I will give more feedback after using it for awhile and putting it through its paces. 1. Cost: excellent 2. Assembly: extremely easy 3. Work: strong and durable 4. Longevity: to early to rate If it is durable enough to work hard and stay strong for a year then it is well worth the money compared to the big name brand saws. ... show more

  • Surprisingly works great, but you do get what you pay for.
Size: 20“ 6220G
Surprisingly has power, and works great. Cut a 30"~ Wet Wet Wet Redfir pine, and only bogged down maybe 1 or twice. But does have some issues which can easily be address and fixed. Make it easy for you: Pros: *Runs great once you swap out the plug. and tune carb correctly *Light weight *Powerful enough for wet/waterlogged wood, (Had very little bog down, if any) *Cheap *Low Vibration, and quieter than most saws. *Chain oilier actually seems to oil quite sufficient or more, usually this is a weak point in these cheap saw (at least from experience) I have it set to the max and it is almost low, when i need to refuel. which imo is perfect. Cons: *Chinese plug is crap, Swap out for better. CJ8Y or equivalent i found to work best *Carbs need tuned, otherwise it floods to easy. *Chain is subpar at best. it will cut, but dulls easy. Swap out for better chain. (Bar seems to hold up without bending so far) *Pull string is as soft as a toddlers shoelace, Broke 3rd startup. replacing was tricky, but definitely needs changed out for stronger. *Suggested oil fuel ratio, seems to be too oil rich, and confusing. Manual says 20:1 for first 20 hours than 25:1, sticker on the saw states 25:1, But the fuel cap says 40:1 Im leaning towards 30:1 might be the perfect ratio, but time will tell. Not sure why its so oil rich, when most popular manufactures use closer to 50:1 ... show more

  • Inspect the chain sprocket FIRST THING
Sounded like a decent cheap homeowner saw. Assembled and got it running, but the chain was bound up. Took it apart and reassembled twice before I noticed the chain sprocket had a death grip on the chain. After I finally got the chain free, I could see the machining defect in the sprocket. The saw is inoperable with this defect. I included photos of the defect compared to what it’s supposed to look like. Inspect this part before you go through the hassle of assembling/disassembling/draining gas & bar oil back out/repackaging/returning and starting completely over! ... show more

  • Works Very Well
Size: 58CC-20Inch
We had a few trees go down in our yard due to storms and bought this thing to get them cut up and removed from the property. My husband was very skeptical about buying an off-brand name when it comes to a tool like this, but after making use of it, he says that it felt like using his old Husqvarna and from him that is pretty high praise. The only reason that I am giving this product a 4 star instead of 5 star review is because my husband did say it took a little more personal effort to cut through the stumps than he thought it should have taken. Honestly, this could have been just due to the nature of trees and my husband getting old :) Good Product, Good investment. ... show more

  • Works and a Great Value
Size: 20“ 6220G
This is the same basic saw from china you'll see under different names. I went with the 62cc I do recommend it. Cons: - Oil Ratio mislabeled: it is 25:1 for the first 20 hours then 50:1 according to the manual. The saw has stickers saying just 25:1 and the fuel cap says 40:1. FWIW, I think this is the only info in the manual I trusted. - Nuts on the side are prone to vibrate loose / off - add a locking washer - There is a trigger lock for starting, but it feels flimsy - First time start took a few extra pulls - could be considered heavier Pros: + good power - I put it to hard work right away + metal where you need it - full aluminum body + bar and chain were good enough - always get extra chains + oiler pump - works well, and adjustable! + setup instructions were separate, mostly accurate and easy to follow Accessories: the gas can made me laugh, but then i used it because who keeps 25:1 fuel around. You'll need a hip-flask sized funnel though, the openings are small. Sharpening file: pointless without an angle guide or way to trim the rakers / riders - find yourself a better solution. Tip: Rubber-band the toolkit to the bar cover so you keep everything together. The price-range is comparable to the lower-end homeowner saw. This is a much better machine for that money. If you use a saw a few times a year, go with an electric chainsaw - seriously - I've cut cords of wood with plug-in electric - its lighter and they always start - year after year. Whatever you go with, keep the blade oiled and SHARP. ... show more
