The pressure cooker is not hard to use and it pressure tough meat like Oxtail very well. Or even chicken if you don't have time to cook the chicken regularly you can pressure it and finish cooking fast if you are in a rush. It's a cook pressure cooker so that's why I am rating it well.

It works like anyother pressure cooker. The rekease valve can be let open without having to hold it. When I fully open the release valve it spits some water with the steam.

I've been using a pressure cooker for a long time and the one that I've had I inherited from my grandparents, I believe they bought it in the 80s it was a Fagor. It had worked great but I wanted to try a new one and it was well worth it. It cooks super fast and it is easy to use what else can I say. Love my new cooker! It really does make only about a third of the noise of other pressure cookers I've used in the past. It is well made, really nice size and very easy to open and close. I use a pressure cooker at least once a week for family meals and I'm delighted with my purchase!
