I used to be a gym rat years ago, but now I'm a senior in my 60s. Because of my age, my doctor has warned me about "clunky" heavy freeweight resistance training because of diminished bone and muscle density. So, he suggested increasing my daily protein intake and using a more manageable resistance apparatus like this for toning up - stretching before exercising. Starting slow, I decided to try this 20-60 lb and like it, for the most part. Keeping it at the lowest resistance for now, I can comfortably do 3-4 sets of 15-20 reps 2-3 times per week (allow more time for healing) for chest and biceps. After my first workout, I was "good" sore for the next couple of days, so it works. Over the years, I've had similar chest and bicep toners, so I quickly figured out how to use this - and adjust the resistance - from the limited visuals. However, it would be great to have more detailed instructions for the exercises to explain proper form (e.g., back and brachialis) to avoid injury. The included instructions "warn" about potential injury "due to improper exercise methods," but there is no detailed description of "proper" methods in the instructions for using this. The quality seems great, and so is the portability.

Absolutely love it. I even use it at work during my 30 minute break. Super easy to put together 3mins or less, light weight . Definitely takes the place of floor pushups ( so no excuses yall of not doing pushups) great for therapy clients who are looking to get there muscle 💪🏽 strength back.Usually I get tired real easy of exercise equipment and they collect dust. Whole different vibe with this equipment especially when you can seat back and watch tv at the same time or travel with this. I was skeptical of this product but now I see why it stays sold out. Im having fun learning which muscles I haven't used in a while. Boy do they yell and say dirty words to me. At the end of 3 weeks Im doing more repetitions . I should increase the resistance but I'm working on stamina at this point. It will change ,and yes you can make it fun with the correct attitude. Easy to increase /adjust the resistance , but again Im working on stamina for now.
