Handy small chainsaw

This is the handiest small chainsaw! It easily will cut a 3” branch. On small branches, less than 1”, it will jump around so be careful. For that size I’m extra cautious. This chainsaw is fun and easy to use. When using it I think, “ Gosh what can I cut next!”. Comes with thin gloves, (I use my yard gloves), some protective glasses, two extra chains with a tool, charger, two batteries and a case. I recommend this product.

It’s Compact and Powerful, too!

I purchased the SAKER 6 inch Portable Battery Powered Chain saw to cut smaller logs into pieces suitable for burning in our shop’s wood stove. I was a little skeptical because of its low price but I’m pleased to say that my initial skepticism wasn’t merited. This saw is GREAT! it’s a perfect size for small jobs. It’s 6” cutting face and a 9” plate length makes it perfect for my intended use. It’s portable, versatile, and gets the job done. Its electric motor drives its chain with sufficient velocity and torque to power through limbs / trunks up to 6 inches in diameter. Its safety shroud helps prevent accidents and trust me, the last thing you want is a fight with a chain saw. It may be small in size but that makes it NO LESS dangerous than a full size saw. The saw is easy to set up as well as use. Read the included instructions for setting chain tension and making other adjustments. The saw itself comes with everything you need to get going. The package includes the saw, three chains, chain oil, adjustment tools, gloves and a hard sided carrying case for transport. The price is incredible and you’ll get your moneys worth the first time you use it. I like its compact size and performance so much that I recommended it to my neighbor. I would not hesitate to order it again!

Cutting Costs and Trees with Saker Mini Chainsaw!

While it gets the job done, it might need a recharge sooner than expected, especially with more extensive tasks. Additionally, I noticed some issues in thicker branches where the chainsaw tends to lock occasionally. Nevertheless, for small to medium tasks, it's a gem! The compact design and efficiency in cutting through smaller trees are remarkable. It's lightweight and easy to handle, making it a go-to for various projects around the yard. Just be prepared for the occasional hiccups on thicker branches. Everything I hoped it would be

My wife! I talked for weeks last year about wanting a mini chain saw. Well “Santa” gave me one. This review is written after having it for three weeks. I read reviews. Watched YouTube reviews. Thought about a Milwaukee or similar. But wifey pulled the trigger on this super reasonable Saker as a surprise. So far I’ve cut and trimmed giant Oleanders, African Sumac tree, assorted bushes, and this morning, a Queen Palm. What’s great: - does everything I hoped for and more(and I’m sure I’m using it for some things for which it is not intended) - cuts through small branches like butter - cuts through 4” diameter solid wood super quick - cuts through super fibered palm branches easily - used it today for an hour plus. Went to recharge the battery when finished. It was still full charge. - easy to operate. - saves time. Work that would have taken me an hour plus is now 10-15 minutes What could be better: - don’t know yet. Having too much fun - stuff gets caught in the chain in the housing area once in a while and the saw stops. But it’s easy to clear, and I believe that it would happen with any mini chainsaw. Here’s two pics. One of my queen palm aftermath. Spent more time setting up and moving the ladder than cutting, also one of the product and case and accessories. Comes with charger, lubricant, directions, two extra chains, two batteries, tools to replace chain, gloves, and safety glasses. The case is nice. Easy. Fits everything. It’s only 3-4 times of use but I love it so far. I’ll do me best to throw another review in a few months and speak to durability. Would I buy this again or recommend it to a friend? Heck yes!

Great investment

Love my chain saw. I am 83 years old and love being independent. This certainly helped the spring when I had to remove a lot of deadwood from bushes in my yard. It’s easy to use, lightweight and hasn’t let me down yet!! AND- I purchased the pink one!!!

Seriously Awesome

I've seen videos of similar products on TikTok and other sites. But I never really had use for one until recently when I ripped out the hedges on one side of my house. I used a regular chainsaw for that, but then when the time came to break the hedges down into bundles that could be easily hauled away, I knew I needed a different tool. The Saker Mini Chainsaw (6-inch version) did the job and then some. For less than $90, you get the saw, three (THREE!) chains, two (TWO!) batteries and a charger, protective glasses, gloves (that were too small for me anyway) and tools. And it all fits inside a handy plastic-molded clamshell box. Personally I LOVE when I can keep things all together like this. Upon opening the box, I slapped one of the batteries on the bottom and pulled the trigger. There is no delay - the chain is moving at maximum speed immediately. I made short work of the hedges. The saw cut through branches and trunks like nothing. The first battery lasted almost through the entire job. When it died I thought "well now is a good time for a break anyway," before remembering that I had another battery ready to go. I put off the break and finished the task. What I expected to take me all afternoon seriously took only about 1.5 hours - and that includes hauling the brush to the front driveway. I have plenty of other uses for it on my property, but I'm also looking forward to bringing it with me camping. Cutting firewood is going to be a breeze. A couple things I quickly learned while using the tool: - Pull the trigger on the saw before making contact with the branch, otherwise it'll kick. - Because it's so light, you may be tempted to cut at weird angles. Just know you can still pinch the blade and get stuck, like any other saw. - It's made to be used by one hand. That means the other hand can be anywhere, including in the wrong place. This thing will not hesitate to chop off your fingers before you even realize it. Protective gloves are definitely recommended. Anyway, with those tips in mind, I highly recommend it!

Update after 30 plus days

I don’t write many reviews but this saw is a titan! It preforms well for what it’s intended for, it’s light weight which helps and it comes in its case making for flexibility when out cutting. I bought this to speed up feeding my small wood chipper. I very pleased with this product and highly recommend it UPDATE AFTER 30 plus days. One battery has failed sadly! If possible, get a warranty!!!!
