I LOVE my Saker Mini 6-inch Chainsaw! Have used it many times this Summer and very pleased with how it works, ease of cleaning, oiling chain, safety shield, value, design, etc. It's a sturdy mini chainsaw and the 6 inch size is the best size. Don't buy one smaller than that because the small one would just be TOO small to be of use. I cut branches on a Jane Magnolia and my Lilacs this summer with no problem. Keep it clean and remember to oil prior to each use. The charger charges quick, so don't walk away and leave that lithium battery charging and go off for an hour. It's a great tool for me as a 75-year old woman, and a great addition to my gardening tools.

You know how you see an ad for a tool and you think, nope, it couldn't possibly be that practical, easy to use, does the job, etc.? Well, this Saker Mini Chainsaw IS that good. Worked right out of the box (thank you, Saker, for having both batteries partially charged!), cuts well and quickly, and we just love being able use one hand to chainsaw and the other to hold the large branch away from us as it starts to come down. We have two large gas chainsaws, and they are great for big jobs such as cutting a tree that's fallen across the driveway so we can get out, or cutting logs to length for firewood. Each takes two hands and needs them both. And when the power goes out, which it does fairly often here and sometimes for multiple days, being able to add gas right away when the chainsaw is out of power is definitely needed (i. e., no power so I can't charge batteries!) But so many times we just need to trim a branch off a tree, or trim the logs so we can cut them to firewood length. This Saker Mini Chainsaw does those types of jobs so much more easily than the big chainsaws. While it will never fully take the place of our big chainsaws, it is a very valuable tool that saves time and a lot of effort, and gets the jobs that it is suited for done well.

The Saker Mini Chainsaw, with its 6-inch blade, has been an absolute game-changer for me. This little dynamo saved me thousands of bucks by tackling the task of cutting down small trees with ease. It's a handy and powerful tool that delivers on its promise. The convenience of a cordless tool is unbeatable. However, the battery performance is good but not great. While it gets the job done, it might need a recharge sooner than expected, especially with more extensive tasks. Additionally, I noticed some issues in thicker branches where the chainsaw tends to lock occasionally. Nevertheless, for small to medium tasks, it's a gem! The compact design and efficiency in cutting through smaller trees are remarkable. It's lightweight and easy to handle, making it a go-to for various projects around the yard. Just be prepared for the occasional hiccups on thicker branches. I live in the country and the perimeter of my yard is about 1700'. Every year I would suffer with blisters and eventually end up with trigger thumb or trigger finger from the constant pressure from traditional pruners. After three trips to a hand specialist (once each year) I decided there had to be a better way to get this unpleasant and painful job done. That's when I saw an add for this tiny handheld chainsaw on FB. I did my usual research on which brand would be the best for the money and decided on this one. I have to say it's the best gardening tool I've ever bought and believe me, I've bought a few! I was able to trim back an overgrowth of a mixture of wisteria, blackberry canes, wild grape vines and honeysuckle vines in no time. I cleared a swath approximately 30' long, 3' deep and 4' high in about 45 minutes. It would have taken hours and many blisters to do the same amount with regular pruning shears. So, trimming is now fun......the hauling off the trimmings, well not so much but it's gotta be done! This little gem comes with two extra blades, safety goggles, a pair of so so gloves, a tiny bottle of oil for the chain, a couple of tools, two 20v batteries, and of course, the owner's manual. Not to mention a very nice sturdy tool box to store this treasure in. There are only two downsides to owning this wonderful tool. One is that it can be a bit tricky changing out the blades for a fresh one. It took me a while but I finally managed to get it on properly. The other downside is that using this little gem is so much fun, you trim away and don't want to quit and then you see what a huge pile of branches and such that have to be hauled away. Oh well. Anyway, if you want to make trimming easier, this is the tool for you. I'm 72 years old, had a stroke last year, and can work for several hours with this as it's lightweight and again, fun to use. Go ahead, purchase one. It's a keeper!

Great at cutting small trees and limbs. Would not recommend for larger trees as a blade tends to get stuck. Using it for what it was designed for is a great chainsaw. Highly recommend.

This mini chainsaw is a little power house. I used it on a giant juniper bush. It was easy to get in between the branches and cut through the limbs easily in tight spots. The saw worked for about an hour before the battery died. With the second battery the job was completed. My friend was using a large electric chainsaw which the chain came off and he had a few other problems with. This one just kept on going. Adjusting the chain was simple. Clean up was a piece of cake.
