This bag is strong and well-made. It holds a ton of baggage and was much larger than I thought it would be. It is easy to put onto the top of the car but does require sometime and effort to get it secured once it is filled. Its good to know that you cannot secure it until it is filled, which makes sense since it is a bag and not a hard shelled carrier. It rained pretty hard on both my trip down and back and everything remained perfectly dry inside, thanks to the waterproof coating on the bag as well as the thoughtfully-designed and zippering system. I have a Subaru Outback with roof rails but I was still required to use the door latches because the bag was larger than the rails and because I wanted it secured in more places on the sides. Using them was very simple and did not cause any damage to the door seals. Again, it rained both ways on my trip and having the door latches on did not cause the car seals to leak at all. This is a great improvement from the old hard turtle tops which are a huge hassle to put on and store. I would definitely recommend this product

I absolutely love this car carrier! It was perfect for our needs. It freed up our car so that I could see out the back window when going on a trip. It was easy to strap to the car, and it was a nice touch that it came with the protective blanket to put underneath and also a lock. On the way home, we went through some pretty serious rain, and there was not a drop of moisture in this car carrier. It really held up wonderfully. Also, the thickness is great. I think this will last for many years to come as long as it's taken care of.

This is great for extra storage on road trips. I don't know why we didn't buy one years ago. We read the reviews of several and picked this one due to the thickness of the material and size. Very easy to use. We did have some rain on our travels, and the inside items were dry.

We drove from Houston TX to PCB FL. It did not rain but so we didn’t get to test that. But the bag fit plenty so far I think is win the install was easy.

We did a long trip with this sailnovo cargo bag on the car, in all kinds of circumstances and on all kind of roads (from gravel road to 80 miles per hour interstate) and to this moment there has not been a single problem. The zipper is strong, the fabric seals everything perfectly, the installation easy. The only thing I don't understand are the 2 straps on the front and back. If you are unable to use them (because we had to use the hooks on the doors), they are kind of in the way of the other straps. We just hooked them up to the side straps, but that is not really the way to do it, I guess. But apart from that small inconvenience, we could not have done this trip without this cargo bag. Super happy!
