Easy assemble and instructions. I set 49 eggs culled five at day 16. Had a couple that were questionable, but I left them in the incubator hatch 38 babies on day 21/22 was easy to operate. If you need extra ventilation, you just crack open the little ABC water inlets a little bit that helps vent out the humidity when you have 20 babies in there it gets a little humid. It bumped it up to almost 90% and I cracked those open and it got it back down within the 75 to 80 range so just a little common sense it’s easy to run. I would buy again. ... show more

So far I am very impressed with my Sailnovo 56 egg incubator. There was a hole In the box when I got it so I was worried, but fortunately the packing was well done and just one small scuff on the plastic. Once I got it set up it got to temp and humidity quickly. I used 2 additional thermometers and hydrometers to verify the units readings. I’ve been running it at 100.3-.4 and it’s staying consistently 99.4-99.8 in the egg holders which is perfect. The humidity was a little trickier. Initially after 24 hours with no water it was 24%, I added water to the trays and it shot up to around 70%. I emptied water trays and used the automatic water only and it leveled out. The unit reads 57% and my hydrometers in the egg trays say 54%. Which is where I like it since I’m hatching thicker shelled eggs. When I was trying to get the humidity down, I was able open the top vents, as well as the the water tray fill slots which helped bring the humidity down until the trays dried out. I’m on day 12 of incubation and thus far out of 55 eggs all but 3 are viable and growing well. I’ll update with final hatch rate. Some people said the fan and alarms were excessively loud, but not in my opinion. I opted to leave the styrofoam on for incubation to decrease cold spots around the edges. The consistency of temperature throughout the the whole egg tray is very impressive to me. Usually only varies by .1-.2 of a degree. ... show more

Currently using for 1st time. Stupid alarm goes off when humidity is low every night. The bottle and tube system doesn't work well. I'm not sure how I like the way the eggs are moved. Not sure if they are even getting rotated. We will see how the hatch rate gies.

Got this product out of the box and it's super loud. I placed it in my basement and I can hear it on my second floor of my house. I left it plugged in for a couple of hours before before I unplugged it because my child couldn't sleep. His room is on the 2nd floor. Also their address on their website doesn't exist and when you call them the number says disconnected. ... show more

    • Great incubator for a larger operation
The media could not be loaded. This 52 egg incubator from Sailnovo is a great addition, especially if you have a an established poultry operation. I currently own a smaller incubator from the same company and I'm very impressed with it. I actually have about a dozen eggs incubating in it as I type this review. This is a much bigger model from the one I have, and it has some quirks, but coming from this trusted brand, I feel like it deserves a fair review. The product comes with everything you need to get started, all you need to do is add some water and some fertile eggs. The noise level of the fan is not too bad, it sounds louder in the video I uploaded because of the proximity of the phone to the fan. It's actually quite quiet. It maintains the temperature you set it to well. The removeable dividers are helpful, especially since you can incubate different types of eggs. There are raised grooves that allow you to easily see where the chicken egg spacing should go. The egg turning device is much different from the smaller unit. There is a piece of plastic that rotates in a circle and moves the square egg divider back and forth. Upon turning the unit on, I noticed that the movement of the egg turner was a bit shaky. I added the slightest amount of mineral oil along the bottom of the egg tray, and it smoothed out the operation of that feature. The egg candler works ok, don't buy this just for that. One of the neat features is the humidity control. I see a lot of reviews mention this feature, as it is unique. It's not designed to add the bulk of the humidity to the incubator. There are three "pots", or chambers along the bottom of the unit that are filled using three different closing chutes. You can experiment with which ones work the best to maintain the humidity best for whatever eggs you are incubating. The humidity control feature is to just maintain the humidity in the product to a more precise degree. It's best to keep the bottle above the device, and start a siphon ahead of time for best results. The whole thing comes apart easily, and is made from a hard plastic which is easy to clean. The product has a learning curve from smaller options, but once you get the hang of it, it is just as easy and feature packed. Overall, for the money, it is a great option, especially if you plan on selling chicks, or raising chickens for meat. ... show more

I’m very happy with how well this incubator works. I’m already on my 2nd batch of chicks! I was surprised at how everything is automatic. I like how it rolls the eggs like a hen would. It automatically increases the humidity for the last 3 days, stops the rolling at 3 days out as well. Great value for the money! ... show more
