The stability of a grab bar is essential when performing our daily duties and gives confidence when standing up in the tub or reaching out for a towel in the kitchen. Safety bars and rails help prevent slips and falls in hallways, on steps and standing. Bathroom safety fixtures are used in hospitals, retirement homes and high- traffic hotels. SPECIFICATIONS: Heavy duty SAE 304 stainless steel only. 1-1/2" wall clearance to meet ADA and ANSI Codes. Bar: 18-gauge, 1.25-inch diameter tubing, Flange Covers: 24-gauge, Flange: 16-gauge. NOTE: Grab Bars are only as strong as what they are mounted to. It is imperative to consult with a qualified contractor to ensure you have sufficient backing. Mounting hardware included (10 x 2" stainless steel wood screws), however we recommend Togglers or WingIt mounting kits when wall studs cannot be located. Includes Installation Guide.
