I bought this rug in a small size for our main-level powder room, and added framed prints from our African photo safari. I wanted a rug that gave a sophisticated nod to our African adventure without an overt or cheesy "theme" look. The colors couldn't be more perfect but even more important to me (because I had bought and returned several other rugs that were cheap feeling or really theme-park looking), is that this rug has a very upscale look and quality feel. Rug looks exactly as pictured. Color of rug is a little darker than it appears in photos, but pretty accurate. Short, thick pile and soft feel for wool. Arrived BEFORE scheduled date! Yay! Thank you, Amazon! Packaged well. Has a slight odor—-but not a bad one. This is the same rug that I had seen at Neiman Marcus, same brand name, but at a much lower price. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5: Doesn’t appear to shed when walked upon, but each time I have vacuumed it, my vacuum cleaner is completely full of “fuzz”! This rug really exceeded my expectations. It's beautiful but more importantly, great quality! It's so nice and thick.....seems like whenever I order a rug, it turns out to be paper thin and just cheap looking. Not this time! I would highly recommend.
