Before getting this, I had never imagined vacuum cleaning my dog. Literally - vacuuming my golden retriever. After getting this, I don’t know why I never thought of it before - it seems so obvious! Now, you can’t rely on the suction to get all the extra fur off of your pet, but it’s gentle enough to get the stray hairs. For the purposes of being a ‘handheld’ vacuum cleaner, it unfortunately is hampered by the plug cable. That to me decreases its usefulness. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I really like this compact little pet vacuum! It's very quiet and quite effective. It worked beautifully on my two long haired miniature dachshunds coats. I used the deshed tool and gots lots of loose hair out of both of their coats. Neither one minded the noise or the experience at all, but they do go for grooming regularly. I will say that this isn't a super powerful vacuum, but it's effective enough at grabbing the hairs the deshed tools has pulled. The "clean" button on the deshed attachment makes the whole process really simple by moving the hairs off the blade so that they are neatly suctioned down the tube to the canister. The compact canister actually holds quite a bit of hair and is easy to remove and dump. The photo of the vacuum is showing how much hair I had gotten out of just the one dog. I think it's impressive and I love the fact that hair isn't going to be dropped around the house. Mind you I did his vacuum deshed immediately after brushing him out with a slicker comb. I did try to use this on my double coated Australian Shepherd who is a bigger and much hairier dog, and it just didn't work on his coat at all. The deshed tool and the low suction of the vacuum itself were no match for his coat. So I'll have to look for another option to suit his coat as it is his seeming nonstop shedding that I was truly looking for help in tidying up. I do have some concerns about the quality and substance of the electrical cord itself. It's very small and seems not really suited for the job and size of the vacuum. The vacuum itself worked for over 20 minutes straight and no part of it, not even the underbody got warm at all. It seems to be well made. There are so many nice attachments included in this kit and I really like being able to store it all away in the included case. The attachments slide on and release easily. The power level is easy to adjust with the push of a button. The high level power is just slightly louder, but still quite acceptable, it's the level I use in the video. My cat even approached the vacuum while it was running and let me slide the brush down his back before he decided he'd seen enough. Overall, I'd say if you have a small dog or cat you will be happy with this vacuum. It certainly has my boys hair coats looking sharp! ... show more

We have two dogs and dog sat two other dogs for a couple weeks. Whew. This was used on a regular basis to mitigate the amount of fur flying around, especially during a spring shed. The noise is minimal so after sniffing a bit they realized it wasn’t a threat and seemed to actually enjoy being “brushed” with the vacuum. The S7 Pet Vacuum Brush & Pet Grooming Kit is working well for my little hairy pooch. This is quite the setup with the nice zipper case to store the vacuum along with stretch bands to securely hold all the tools. This part exceeded my expectations. Vacuum is quiet compared to a home vac, but suction not very strong if using on furniture. Has a long hose and long cord, which is a good feature. I've not tried the clippers yet since my furbaby does get groomed regularly, but glad I have them now. ... show more

Excellent Pet vac grooming kit! I absolutely love the case, every part has a home, and it is all contained within the zippered suitcase for it. It does everything it says it does, from brushing and sucking in the hair, to grooming and sucking in the cut hairs, to nail clipping, The attachments are nice, solid pieces (not cheaply made), the clippers work GREAT. The nail trimmers also work great! It is low noise and my dog is easily calmed within a minute. This saves so much time! This saves so much frustration! I love it.     • Great little gadget for my golden retriever
My dog does not vacuum cleaner, so we were a little worried when we got this little vacuum grooming kit that he's going to freak out and would not let us close. I was presently surprised he has no problem with the sound of the vacuum. It's not very loud or intimidating at all. The suction of the vacuum is mild, it's enough to suck in the hairs but not too much that it would make him uncomfortable. He was really enjoying himself and of course the treats while we were grooming him. We hasn't tried all the attachments yet, just the larger comb, but they all seem to be good quality and no shape edges. The carrying bag is great, make storaging the device very easy. As far as longevity of the device, it's hard to say. So far so good, it seem to be a quality gadget that would last a long time with proper care. ... show more

    • Light suction but quiet
I have some mixed thoughts because this hand held vacuum is very quiet which I really like, but the suction power is not as strong as I thought it would be even on the high power setting. I would say it works bets on small dogs that don't shed a lot because the chamber is small so it fills up fairly quickly. The cord is very light weight so I'm afraid it may get easily broken, so just be careful with that. Product from china. ... show more
