Description

Before use, it is best to fully charge the cover separately, then place it on the optic for charging. How to switch reticle system (dot, circle, dot+circle)? When the optic is on, press and hold the "_" button for over 3 seconds to switch between the three reticle options, Dot+Circle, Dot-only and Circle-only, switching in that order every 2 seconds. The charging cover stopped working and won't charge my sight. Is it defective? Not necessarily! The charging cover has its own battery. If unused for months, it may have over-discharged and appear "dead." Charge the cover via USB-C for 2-3 hours to restore it. Recharge every 3 months during storage to keep it ready. How often should I charge the charging cover? The Osight S has an extremely long battery life (max 21,900 hours), so you'll rarely need the charging cover. We recommend recharging the cover every 3 months during storage to prevent over-discharge. Always store it fully charged when not in use. How many times can the charging cover charge Osight S? A fully charged cover can charge a low-battery optic three times. Each charge completed in 1.5 hours. What should I do if my item arrives used or is missing parts? All our products are shipped in brand-new, factory-sealed condition. Any package that arrived opened, showing signs of use, or with incomplete accessories is unacceptable. Please request a return or replacement immediately through Amazon. OSIGHT S OSIGHT S (Olive Green) OSIGHT SE OSIGHT K OSIGHT X OSIGHT C OSIGHT SE 6 MOA Dot GN

  • Beautiful little micro.
Color: Black
I’ve been looking around at different micro dots to put onto my new CZ p09 nocturne compact carry. I really have enjoyed olight products as far as light accessories are concerned over the years and consider them to be the best value to quality products when it comes firearms light accessories. Over the years I’ve enjoyed the tremendous value of their odin’s, the Valkyrie 3 R Valkyrie mini 2 and a list of the other ones they make. I saw a couple reviews on this particular optic and I really liked the size and recharge technology they give you with it that just charges by going over the optic.. the ability to re charge your optic without having to pull it off and replace the batteries is huge. I also think it provides a lot of good tech like their motion sensor which is their form of shake to wake along with their auto light adjustment option. It was really a nice compact option the 2 S comparing it to competitors so I wanted to give olight’s 2nd gen osight 2 S a shot. Unfortunately they haven’t made a “green” version of this otherwise I would be even happier. So far so good no issues. I will report back in half a year to give any updates on this micro and how it’s held up. So far about 600 rounds in. Aside from getting it zeroed which wasn’t too awful I guess although zeroing any micro dot imho is annoying on a pistol. I used extra loctite blue 42 when I tightened the mount screws during installation just for good measure and made sure to give it the 17 lb listed weight as well on their installation directions. Really this is a very crisp red dot 2 moa in comparison to other micros I have used it’s extremely high quality when it comes to the looks and crispness of the dot looking through the lense. The feel is amazing of the topic as well. Putting it in my hand it was obvious to me that olight/osight really made a finely crafted micro dot with the details all in mind. The optic was convincing enough for me to purchase it despite it being red.. as I normally always go with green for a variety of other factors I won’t go into . The 3 reticle choices is very nice as well. The profile of the dot is really the coolest thing about it. It’s very small but at the same time the actual shape/design of the lense space of the optic does not feel small to me when you’re acquiring and aiming. So you’re getting a micro dot optic that’s smaller..takes up less space concealing.. but looking through it I really do not get that feeling that it lacks space. For carrying this is a big deal for me I really do not want lando’s space city on the top of my pistol slide… as I’m sure many of you do not either. Very impressed as well with osights packaging, mount screw options layout, their portable charger design which is brilliant and very convenient in solving having to re zero a micro dot every time you run out of batteries. It really does feel and look like an extremely high grade optic and I hope it continues to hold up. If osight made a green version of this I really think more people would be buying it in droves as well. I have to give olight credit for the osight 2 S so far. Just an A micro dot all around. I will try to check back in and give you all an update in the 6-8 months from now period on how it’s held up any problems or issues UPDATE: 03/26/TWOTHOUSANDTWENTYSIX I have continuously put this optic to work since I last reported in. I have had zero issues at all. This micro optic remains a favorite of mine. I haven’t had any strange problems such as a random shut down and never turns back on type of scenario that a few others have reported. It runs like clockwork and when I am doing drills I have found the optic to be very helpful circle dot is great for speed on this micro.. I am sure you may find it “crowded” at first to have a circle dot reticle setup on your handgun but I assure you practice with it and you will find it superior than just the 2 moa dot by itself. I really have to give osight a thumbs up on the micro… it’s just phenomenal for carrying and it has that amazing size for someone concerned about their appendix Carry / imprint. I don’t want to look like robocop walked into a strip club down there and this optics size is perfect as far as any possible imprint in concerned. The battery life continues to be very solid it feels like weeks of carrying go by before I give it a charge with the top battery charger cover osight provides. … like I’ve said before … “if”osight makes this in green I am going to jump onto the green micro dot version of this optic faster than white on rice. I’m a sucker for green mostly due to just green working with my eyes better… although this red has done its job and then some. No complaints here. I like to see quality companies like olight slide like M Bison into the optic business. It makes a better competitive environment and we as consumers benefit from this. Huzzah guys and happy drills and shooting. So that’s my update from today… I’ve put around 2100 rounds through my cajunized p09 nocturne compact with this little guy on top and I love it. God save and bless the Republic. ... show more

  • Excellent Budget Optic – 1 Year & 1,000+ Rounds
Color: Black
I’ve had this optic for a year now, mounted on my S&W Shield Plus, and I’ve put over 1,000 rounds through the pistol during that time. It has been an excellent optic from day one. The battery life has been outstanding. In an entire year, I’ve only had to charge it once, and it still had around 25% battery remaining when I did. That kind of battery performance has really impressed me, and I carry this weapon with the red dot 80% of the time. It has held zero perfectly, and I haven’t experienced a single issue with reliability, durability, or performance. For the price, I honestly think it competes with bigger-name brands like Holosun. If you’re looking for a quality red dot that performs well without spending a premium, I would definitely recommend giving this optic a try. ... show more

  • So good I bought two.
Color: Black
This is my second Osight S purchase. Until now, I have been a Trijicon RMR devotee, but I added an aftermarket Dovetail Red Dot sight tray to my XDM 3.8 Compact .45 and my XD Mod. 2 subcompact .45, and I needed a sight that had the RMSc footprint. The fit and finish of the sights were excellent. I like the rechargeable battery since I don’t have to remove the sight to change batteries and then re-zero. The Osight comes with multiple screw types, which eliminates frustration during mounting. I used blue Loctite and torqued to spec. The multiple reticle options are an excellent feature, especially for older eyes. Zeroing was a breeze. Make sure to boresight them before heading to the range. The windage and elevation turrets are solid and provide tactile and auditory feedback. After multiple range trips and two classes, the zero is still perfect. The shake awake feature is a game-changer for me and greatly improves battery life. I have only charged the sights once since purchase, and they still haven't hit 75% charge. All in all, a great red dot for the money! ... show more

  • 5 stars easily! Looks and feels amazing, tactical buttons and very awesome charging system.
Color: Black
Okay so I'm just getting my gun tomorrow after waiting for my background check in Washington State. This will mount to my p365 and several other guns right out of the box without any adapter plates needed. But it comes with several different screws and a few plates just in case it's not supported directly on your handgun or whatever you're putting this on. The optics look absolutely stunning for the price and I love the 30 MOA circular with a two MOA micro in the center or the ability to use one or the other. It also has a shake on option so it sleeps after 10 minutes of non-movement and wakes up again when you barely lift the gun or optic which is kind of a cool touch. I don't have anything to compare this to because I bought this for the price and the great ratings and some other gun optics reviews I watched on YouTube and they were all very positive. The charging system is very innovative and I like it because it's very simple to charge back up if it dies on you and you don't have to remove it to reinstall new batteries or mess with any screws etc Just drop the charge plate on top of the site while it's mounted to your gun and wait about 20 minutes or so for it to be fully charged again. It should last for a couple months overall on a full charge. Some have received some with funky batteries that died much easier but I believe these have a lifetime warranty so you have nothing to risk but to try it out and see if you like it. Very nice crystal clear gorgeous display to look through with very tactical easy side buttons and it has stayed zeroed for a few months now on my wife's gun so I chose to buy one for my p365 which has just a little more kick than her gun but I suspect it will be awesome and stay zeroed for a long time. We shall see but I'm giving it five stars all around because for the money this is a damn nice site with a very clever easy to use recharger that only requires a USBC cable and a cigarette lighter adapter or you can of course charge it from a wall block at home at night or whatever so you have plenty of options for a quick charge if you're out in the field. You could even plug it into a battery pack for that matter that you would use for charging other devices like your cell phone and laptop etc USBC compliant keeps it wide open for ease of use pretty much anywhere. Very well thought out I hope it's as good as the reviews I've read and the videos I've seen on it. Will update my post if anything changes but again, five stars all the way. I paid full price, I'm not affiliated with this company nor did I get a free product or discount for writing this review because I know how that works too and this is 100% honest actual user review unbiased ... show more

  • Instant Fail!!!
Color: Black
Let me just say that I wanted to love this optic. It seems like such a great deal and build quality seemed solid. I don't know why but the window seems so much bigger than eps carry. reticle was very clear and auto mode worked really well in light transition. Seems like light sensor was on front of optic so it didn't drown out your reticle with bright light from dark to light transitions.... It was great util it wasn't . I installed the optic as I have many times before and everything seemed great. I had a full charge and was getting a feel for the dry run draw and acquisition of sights. when I noticed that I no longer had a circle around my dot. At first I thought I accidentally changed the reticle to 2 MOA, and after attempting to change the reticle back it did nothing, then I noticed that the circle was slightly showing like a silhouette. almost like it never completely turned off. I tried powering off and on. I put the charger hood back on, it was full battery, then the circle started flickering of and on dim to bright and so on. I was finally able to change mode to manual and adjust brightness but it continued to do the same with the 32MOA circle. when I finally changed the reticle to circle only the dot started having the same issues as the circle. Eventually it started acting like a strobe light. Keep in mind I had not even fired the gun with the optic installed, this was just me getting familiar with it at home. I reached out to Osight and still have not heard anything from them (granted it's only been a day). Brightness was great, optic clarity was good. just can't trust failing electronics. I ordered two and amazon dropped the ball on delivery. they still haven't delivered the second one. oh yeah packaging and hardware was most impressive, osight set the standard. ... show more

  • Precise and durable - an unbeatable combo!
Color: Black
I recently got my hands on the Osight S red dot sight, and I have to say, I’m thoroughly impressed with this little optic! As someone who values precision and reliability in my gear, the Osight S has quickly become a favorite for my concealed carry setup. First off, the compact size of this sight is perfect. It’s designed with an RMSc footprint, which made mounting it on my pistol a breeze—no extra plates or hassle needed. The low deck height lets me co-witness with my factory iron sights, which gives me extra confidence in case the dot ever fails. But honestly, after putting it through its paces, I don’t see that happening anytime soon. What really sets the Osight S apart is its rechargeable design. The magnetic charging cover is a game-changer—it not only protects the lens but also charges the optic with a built-in battery display that shows the power levels for both the sight and the cover. I love that I don’t have to mess with tiny coin batteries anymore. A single charge lasts an incredibly long time; I’ve been using it on a medium brightness setting, and it’s still going strong after weeks of range sessions. The cover can recharge the optic multiple times, and each charge takes just 1.5 hours, which is super convenient. The clarity of the aspherical lens is another standout feature. It’s parallax-free with zero distortion, and the large window makes target acquisition quick and effortless, even during rapid-fire drills. The multi-reticle system is a nice touch—I can switch between a 2 MOA dot, a 32 MOA circle, or both, depending on the scenario. I usually stick with the dot for precision, but the circle-dot combo is great for faster engagements. The brightness settings are easy to adjust manually, though I’ve also used the auto mode, which adapts well to changing light conditions. Durability-wise, the Osight S feels solid. It’s fully enclosed, so I don’t have to worry about dust, dirt, or rain messing with the emitter. I’ve put a few hundred rounds through my pistol with this optic mounted, and it’s held zero perfectly. I even dropped it once by accident, and it didn’t flinch—still spot-on when I checked my groupings afterward. The housing is made of a tough aluminum alloy, and it’s rated IPX4 for waterproofing, which gives me peace of mind for outdoor use. I also appreciate the little details, like the motion sensor that wakes the sight up instantly when I pick up my gun and shuts it off after 10 minutes of inactivity to save battery. The buttons are tactile and easy to use, and I like that I can lock out the settings to prevent accidental adjustments. Overall, the Osight S has exceeded my expectations. It’s affordable, packed with innovative features, and performs flawlessly for my needs. Whether you’re into shooting training, outdoor activities, or just want a reliable optic for your carry pistol, I’d highly recommend giving the Osight S a shot. It’s a fantastic addition to my setup, and I’m already thinking about getting another one for my other pistol! ... show more

  • Dead on arrival - update
Color: Black
This product was dead on arrival yesterday. The charging cover and the optic were fully charged, but it wouldn't power on. I emailed Osight CS and the response was quick. They want me to return this unit to them first to look at it. Either they will fix it or send a replacement once they check the optic. I would like to give this red dot another try, but I returned the product to Amazon for an expedited refund and will reorder it. I will update this review and increase my rating if I am happy with it. *6/1/2025 - The I've reordered this red dot right after I received my refund. It is flawless after about 400 rounds of shooting so far with several trips to the range. This time the product deserves a 5-star rating. ... show more

  • Excellent operations, Weird color.
Color: Olive Green
I love how this operates. The dot pops out every time and is so easy to see. The enclosed body, size, and even shape seem to be the perfect proportions for fast operation. There are otger brands with smaller units that brag about the "anti-snag" benefits of their small size, but their window makes it much harder to consistently, immediately spot the dot. Even with training and drawing up to the chest then pushing out from there, the dot would often hide to the side and now you're wiggling the end or bobbing your head, wasting precious seconds! The Osight S dot/circle pops up Every Time, and Immediately! It has changed my view of red dot optics. I used to like them but didn't think they had much of a defense advantage. Now that I can see the dot faster than the sights, I'm a believer. I'm sure there are other great units but this Osight is my new favorite. I even tried the 400 dollar rmsX British brand but had to send it back for being very dim with brand new batteries. I can't forget the BAD: The housing color does NOT look green! It looks almost like Gold color but not quite. There's a sheen to the body of the unit that makes it more reflective than the charging case. The case looks closer to green but still not there. I wish I just got the black one now because I look like the guy that poorly tried to accessorize Gold color. I actually like the gold looking barrels and buttons on some pieces, but this one isn't that. It's an in between color that matches nothing I own. Luckily my piece has two tones of green, tan grip modules, and black buttons, so one more color isn't the worst thing ever. Still annoying though. Otherwise would have reached 5 stars. But..... I still am super impressed with the operations of this Osight! ... show more
