  • Great chair but they didn’t do the assembly
So in the purchase it offered assembly, don’t get me wrong, for an elderly person would have been hard, for me easy, but it was offered so I clicked on it, the two Amazon delivery persons were some of the rudest people I’ve encountered in some time. The product is great, service was poor, they pushed the box into my doorway and said it’s yours now so don’t click on analyze and expect anything ... show more

  • Great buy for anyone under 6ft
Size: Large Color: Black Lift Recliner
The assembly was not difficult. Was an emergency purchase for husband to recover from a unexpected open heart surgery. While it's nice and sturdy it's not made for people who are taller. He is 6ft and 320 which I had checked for these stats before purchasing. The chair works well but his legs are not comfortable and he keeps sliding down into the wrong positions due to the lack of necessary leg support. Just make sure you don't mind the long wait time of the motor and the height issue. If those aren't an issue this is a great buy! We would have normally returned it, but my husband like the stability of the piece and it's great for me and the kids. ... show more

  • Totally Worth the Price When You Discover the Convenience
Couldn't ask for anything more convenient when it comes to something that someone with mobility issues needs in their life. Normally this is something you might consider for seniors. But we picked this chair specifically for one of my Wife's aunts, who has trouble getting out of chairs and recliners. Yet we feel that she shouldn't have to miss out on the comfort of a good recliner. The quality of this is nice. The material seems like it should last a good bit of time. But importantly, it works as expected as far as helping her to get out of it with ease. And she was so tickled to receive it as a gift. We came across similar recliners when out furniture shopping for a new sectional for our home. But balked at the asking prices. So it was also a nice surprise to see that there was something virtually identical to what was in furniture stores, but for hundreds of dollars less. Main word of advice on this one - use a hand truck/dolly when you need to move it, and get two people to set it up. I tried moving this plus setting it up on my lonesome, and my body was definitely unhappy with me the following day. So don't be too proud to get someone to assist you with moving it (it's HEAVY) as well as getting it all set up. ... show more

  • Comfortable, sturdy - motor functions take a bit of time
This is nice chair. Assembly was simple and straightforward. The chair does feel sturdy. The material used on it has a nice "feel" to it. As for the seating - which is of course all important: I am 6' 0" tall and my wife is 5' 7". She feels like the chair is a perfect fit for her and is very comfortable. I do TEND to agree - BUT - having sat in many other slightly larger recliners in my life, I feel like I'd want about 1" or 2" more length in the seat section of it for it to feel "right." As it is, the seat and back are comfortable, and it is mostly okay in a reclined position. But with my longer frame, the back of my knees are JUST NOT QUITE in the right place because of the seat length. It is still comfortable for the most part. But it could be better for ME. For my wife it is perfect. Do note that the motor functions are quite slow. It takes every bit of 20 seconds to go from the 'seated' position to the fully 'upright' position towards standing. This would have undoubtedly been of great help to me when I had surgery earlier this year and had difficulty getting on and off the couch. It also takes a bit longer than 20 seconds to go from fully seated to fully reclined - so more than 40 seconds from 'standing' to 'seated' to 'reclined.' And then another 40+ seconds from that position to fully upright (or over 20 to just normal seated). Just don't plan to hop out of if quickly, and you'll likely be comfortable in it if you are 6' 0" or shorter. I did take off a star for the slow motor functions and the fact that it isn't ideal for me. If I could have done 4.5 stars, I would. But I can't quite give it five stars either. ... show more

  • No assembly really required
So at first I forgot this doesn't require assembly. At least not really All you have to do is take everything out of the box. Lay the base of the chair down. Lift the back of the chair, and place it on the two pieces on the sides of the back, and it'll stick into place, and that's it For help, the one thing I found is to have someone hold the flap on the back of the back of the chair up. That's what covers the mechanism that lets you recline and all that. The flap at first can be a hindrance, as it was for me, so having someone lift that, just to get the back on, is very helpful. And once that's done you really are all done. At least with the chair itself The last part is simple. Just plug in the plug parts, then connect the split to the chair, plug in the plug, and your good to go Best recommendation, find a nice spot where you can plug in the chair comfortably close to a wall, or do like me, have a power strip that's a decent length out from the wall and you can plug into that. The power strip for me made things really easy and allowed me to get the perfect position The remote sits comfortably in the side pocket and allows for easy, soundless, adjustment of the chair, to recline or go forwards. It's very slow so it allows for precise control The pockets on the side also make it super easy for whoevers sitting in it to deposit things, like a book or charger, and then withdraw them at any time while sitting. Especially handy while reclined. The chair got a lot of trial today by guests. One that was a much older man with quite a bit of bodily issues, so he requires a soft chair that helps him when sitting. I will add he usually complains about everything, just to paint you a picture here for where I am going with this He sat in that chair, and he was quiet the whole time He never does that Not one complaint So it's got stamp of approval. And of course me as well, I used it when no one was sitting in it, and was in the lap of luxury with this thing. Felt as good or better than the reclining movie theater chairs I used at the theater. And those were super comfortable. I'd say an ultimate lazy chair that I honestly could sleep in Perfect for young or old 12/10 ... show more

  • Comfy chair, seaming delicate
This chair is super comfy! Only downside is that it is quite fragile. When we were taking it out of the box, a seam on the armchair popped open.
