Used for my dog as support after abdominal surgery. Worked well but the Velcro did not hold up to the multiple changes of bandages, just got really fuzzy where the Velcro attached and it stopped attaching to the fabric. Washed well. Not sure that I would recommend.

First due to multiple unrelated malignant cancers, l have had a permanent feeding tube for almost ten years. For those of you with a feeding tube, it's a real hassle to keep it secure at nite, if you toss around at night such as I do, you will appreciate how this binder keeps your feeding tube in place and secure. You will appreciate this binder when your tube opens up in the middle of the nite and you and your bed are covered with your stomach contents. I purchased the Compression Band after having Hernia surgery. I needed one for the times I wash the one I received from my surgeon after my surgery, which is very sturdy medical grade. This item works for a short period of time for me. I needed more support, so I can’t wear it for the day just yet. But it does the job for a few hours in my condition now. After I’m well enough, this will be a good band to wear, because it’s breathable, can wear over clothes without the bulk and it’s comfortable. AND FYI… The band frays when the Velcro is pulled apart. ... show more

My favorite binder so far , but unfortunately without a loop section to hold the hooks on the binder it eventually tares itself up with everyday use ... I give it about a month before it becomes useless and you need another , ... Just has a short survivability with everyday use .
