I ordered this product and it came in a beat up box with holes in it and a bunch of brown packing tape. I opened it up and it had been used and was full of debris from leaves and twigs that someone had vacuumed before. Additionally, it did not work. Could not even turn it on. So I sent it back and they sent me a new one and it's come back in the same box. That's even a little more beat up with about twice as much brown packing tape on it. the leaf mulcher is substandard quality, easily gets jammed when there's even a small pile of leaves. the motor on this blew out in less than a year which is sad given the other ryobi products work really well. avoid this the reviews are real.

Bought this for our large yard fall cleanup and it did a great job but half way through our first cleanup the three-setting power switch is stuck on high. Sometimes a more delicate setting is needed and the worst part is that it drains the battery much quicker.

Item would not turn on on arrival. Charges 20% restocking fee plus billed me for return shipping, all for their defective product. I am lucky to have gotten 2 batteries out of the deal, or I would be out all my money. Clearly a scam.

The machine works well however it is quite heavy. I thought I would just use it without the harness that comes with it, but decided to add the harness to complete my job.
