I love the look of the lamp, this is one of the better branded AZ products in general. I do have a problem with this particular lamp and I don't know if it is specific to me or to all the lamps in this run. There is a pole or something that protrudes from the bottom of the lamp. It is still covered by the felt but it sticks out just a tiny bit more than the actual base of the lamp so it makes it just a little bit wobbly. It's not that big of a deal and it's not noticeable on a table, but if you poke it with your finger it moves a lot more easily than it should. It's just not seated well or completely on the table because of the higher center point. Obviously, I'm still using it but I don't believe I would put it in a super high traffic area. Other than that, the shade is beautiful and it comes with an LED bulb, not common and very appreciated. The harp is detached when you get it but easily attached and it is a dark brown in color which goes a little better with the bronze. The base of the lamp is a white glass. I can easily be mistaken but it looks like it was at one point clear and then the inside is painted white because I do see kind of a cool clear edge around the top of it. Again, I hope I just got an oddity because it is a great little lamp. ... show more

This is a nice lamp but not perfect I say that only because of the bottom where the lamp sits on the base it’s not centered. Looks pretty and brightens up any dark corner. It comes packaged well and a little assembly is all that’s needed and the bulb is included. The shade sits good and even overall a pretty good lamp. I would of given it 5 stars if the base was centered. ... show more

The included LED bulb puts off a nice glow. I put this lamp on a side table in our family room. There isn't a lot of lighting in the room and it can get quite dark. The white color of this lamp and lamp shade, along with the bright LED bulb, have really helped to brighten up the entire room. The lamp I replaced was older and had a completely different look and style. This lamp gave an instant update to the room in terms of looks and style as well as brightness of the light itself. The only thing I'm worried about is grubby grand child hands on the super white cloth shade! But if (when!) that happens hopefully I'll be able to clean it off. I will say that even though I measured before ordering, this lamp is still slightly smaller than I had envisioned. I really like it though and am very happy with it's looks, quality and function. The Stone & Beam Contemporary Glass Table Lamp makes a great night stand. Its body adds interest to a space and enhances what would be an otherwise plain surface. The broadly curved bottom is very visually appealing. The size of the lamp makes it amenable small spaces and tables which is a major reason that it works so well as a bedside lamp. It also works well on end tables beside sofas and recliners. The light is at a nice height. It seems to be well made and I would purchase a matching lamp if I could. It is an on/off lamp rather than a three way lamp. Because of its white color and smooth texture without designs, the lamp would work well with almost any theme. ... show more

This lamp does come with a California proposition 65 warning. It was not mentioned on the ad but was printed largely on the box. The white glass has an interesting appearance. It’s obvious there is a thick layer of clear glass then the white is noticeable underneath. It has a deep brown base that the white vase lamp stands on. I found the shade to be far too bright. The lampshade, in my opinion, really should be just a little bit darker. I had a floral lamp shade that I have switched out in the meantime. The total white wash gives me more of a modern feel that is not really my style. I really liked the glass lamp base though and I knew changing a lampshade was no big deal. I have extra lampshades anyway because I do like to change the look of my lamps and thus my room styles. It’s a classy lamp all in all. ... show more

This is quite a beautiful lamp. It is from one of Amazon's homewares lines -- Stone and Beam -- and is made from glass with an elongated neck. This is really medium to high end, belying its low pricetag. It would be at home in the pricier end of Crate and Barrel or an upperscale housewares department store; I'm impressed by the low cost for which it is offered here. Although genuine glass, it is very durable, and its aesthetic flexibility is downright "on point." It looks great both in rooms with heavier/darker tones as a lighter element or in a minimalist environment. Just beautiful; highly recommended. ... show more

This is very well-made and pretty! This is not a cheap lamp. Nice weight, nice shade, the cord can store in the base, and even comes with a lightbulb. This went effortlessly with my living room decor but it would really work in a bedroom as well. I put it together in about 15 minutes including unboxing, easy peasy.
