  • This thing Awesome
Best thing for around house. Light weight, easy to operate. Loving it. ;);)

  • Great unit!
This is the ideal washer for small jobs like cleaning off a patio, a garage floor, siding areas, etc. Soap dispensing is a God-send. I’ve had it for about 7-8 years! May never have to buy another unit!!!!!

  • Poor quality!
Used this pressure washer twice. It’s leaking in multiple places. Where the high-pressure hose connects to the trigger handle and the trigger handle itself. I’ve used it as directed and stored it properly. Good luck with Ryobi customer service! Pretty much non-existent. Absolutely cannot recommend.

  • junk junk junk
Did everything right, kept it indoors, always in the warmth all winter, never seen a freeze, still busted the second summer I owned it. Valve in the wand went out. Stuck wide open. Pump over pressures because it will not shut off like it used to when you let off the trigger. literally shot one of the tips high velocity into my car. Luckly it hit the bumper cover and not the sheet metal. This thing is garbage. ... show more

  • Upon further review, I feel I owe an apology and an update.
You can read my original 2 star review below. My original Title was "Save your money. A garden hose and brush will work as well". I have now taken the time to examine the situation in detail, purchase the replacement parts, and investigate the cause of the problem more closely. I will admit that my original review was too harsh, and the root cause of the issues I had with the machine were in no part the fault of the the design or manufacturing defect. I purchased a replacement trigger handle, but found that the part list from the site I used got me a similar but not identical replacement. This model uses a bayonet style wand extension, and the replacement was designed for a screw-on type wand. However, I was able to disassemble both handles and swap out the failed component (the trigger valve assembly) and the unit is once again operational. I told my sister that I suspected that she stored the unit over the winter in her outdoor garage, and water may have been trapped in the valve, frozen, and cracked the assembly. She confirmed to me that yes, she had kept it in the garage. She just recently moved north from Florida, and wasn't used to winter weather and storage of tools over the winter months. So I guess the root cause of the failure was operator negligence. I apologize for that. Having said all that, I will admit that when working properly, the unit performs much better than I originally reviewed. I wouldn't for a minute suggest that it works as well as a good quality gas powered 5,000 psi system, but you get what you pay for, and at this price range, the performance is adequate for the price. If you are a once a year DIY'er and need a pressure washer for light duty cleaning jobs (decks, patio furniture, gutters, boats, etc.), this unit will be adequate. If you are looking to bigger endeavors (landscaping, paint contracting, pool cleaning), this is not the unit for you. Think carefully before selecting this particular size machine. +++ Original Post +++ I'm one of those people that dreads taking on household chores. I have a low tolerance for tools that are frustrating to use. My sister purchased this last summer to prep her newly constructed porch deck for staining. She insisted I borrow it to prep my deck for staining this year. I hooked it up, turned it on, and proceeded to get a waist-down bath. The trigger handle was leaking badly at the the connection to the pressure hose. The washer is rated at 1.2 gpm, but at least that much was spraying from the connector. I replaced the o-ring at the end of the pressure hose, and that didn't make the least amount of difference. I tried reversing the hose. The water continued to spray out at the handle while the pump end was drip-free, indicating that the sealing surface in the trigger handle has failed. Resolving myself to the bath I was going to take, I proceeded to try and pressure wash with it in this state. To say that it was under-powered would be an understatement. This is rated at 1700 PSI, but apparently that is the rating at the quantum level where the water atoms actually strike the surface. With the pulsating (actually a rotating) tip attached, I might be able to clean 1 square foot in about 2 minutes. I don't know if this is because of how bad the trigger handle was leaking, or if it's just that under-powered. If you compare this washer to your typical car wash DIY bay pressure hose, I would rate it as less than 10% of that effectiveness. In the end, I was much better off just using my garden hose with a spray nozzle and a little elbow grease than trying to tough it out with this washer. On the plus side, I do like the selection of tips provided for the washer and the ease in which they can be changed out. I also noticed that the GFI test button does not disable the electric to the unit unless it is held in. I expected the test button to "trip" the GFI and render the unit powerless. I'm not sure if this is by design or not, but either way I consider that unsafe, and have doubts as to whether the circuit will function as intended in an actual ground fault condition. I cannot understand why companies that spend years building name recognition and reputation insist on trying to market these crappy Chinese products that are built down to a price point. The smallest component level part I can get for this machine is a replacement trigger handle. This will cost me more than 20% of the price paid for the unit new. If it was 5 years old, I wouldn't mind at all. But considering it was only used once, I find it unacceptable. If you're serious about getting a quality pressure washer that will last you for years, I say pass this one up and commit to a good brand name quality gasoline driven unit that you know will be reliable and serviceable for years to come. ... show more

  • Multi-dimensional
I bought this pressure washer a few months back and boy has this changed my life. I literally use it for everything around the house. Driveway? Yes. Windows? You betcha. Cleaning the bbq sauce off of my keyboard after a Minecraft power session while eating buffalo wild wings? EZ. This little electric pressure washer is like Franks Hot Sauce. I use that $*#T on everything. Do yourself a favor and pick this bad boy up. Nothing is more satisfying that cleaning up the sidewalk in front of your house after mowing the lawn. It even gets the grass stains off of my new balance sneakers which is perfect because it allows me to flex on all the other dads at the local Chilis. 5 stars out of 3. Its that good. ... show more

This little machine does a GREAT job around the house for small jobs. I've used it for deck cleaning, garage floor cleaning, small siding cleaning, which would be my garage. The easiness of the machine makes my life easier. Easy storage and enough power to do the small jobs around my house. Buy one

  • Piece of crap!
What a piece of crap. Bought from Home Depot last year. The hose explodes, got replacement. The plastic piece on the gun where the hose attached breaks off, got a new gun. Then this happens. The metal piece that attaches to the water line breaks. What a piece of crap!
