Good blower, with lots of CFM but unfortunately not as high velocity as my 8 year old Ryobi 155 mph 300 CFM 40-Volt Cordless Jet Fan Blower - Model # 204839367 which is cracking at the handle. Having a choice of nozzles for the new one should solve that issue if different nozzles were available. For jobs that need airspeed more than flow rate, a nozzle with more taper and a smaller end would probably work better. The new one is also a bit slower to spin up, makes high frequency whines, and uses more current, so the batteries wear out quicker. A 4AH battery only lasted about 45 minutes. ... show more

    • Powerful and Gets the Job Done
I've used this about 5 times now and I am impressed. I moved about a quarter size rock down the sidewalk using boost power. Normal power does a great job and will last about 20 min of continuous blowing. Boost really uses up the battery, yet is not needed too often.     • Turbo mode gets the job done
The first setting is a bit weak, but good for some situations. Turbo mode is impressively powerful and can clean up your yard quickly. Battery life is great for my medium sized yard. I highly recommend adding this, a ryobi 10 foot pole saw and possibly their 14 inch chainsaw to your yard care collection. All three of these items use the same battery, and I'm amazed at how much I've been able to do with just these three items. Each costs less than $100 (for the tool only package). ... show more

    • Handy and powerful
The blower is convenient, and for the size it's got plenty of power. It's not light, but considering it's 40V it's not overly heavy. It's easy to use. We're pleased with it's design and performance.

    • Works great
The swiveling handle placement makes it comfortable to hold and easy to aim. Even at the standard setting it moves a lot of leaves. When pushing the turbo button it will dislodge leaves stuck in cracks and even propel the unit backwards a bit. It moves enough air to pull loose clothing towards the intake screen. Not enough for that to be a problem but enough to impress with its power and the volume of air being moved. It is a solid unit that feels like it will last.     • Stopped working less than a month after purchase with minimal use
Ryobi service is terrible, they make you wait more and a 1/2 hr and though the first agent was helpful, ordered the wrong part . Subsequent calls given runaround and told I have to deal with service center whom I should call first but provided contact numbers are not supported by live people and messages are not returned promptly at all. When I was able to talk to someone they advised me “unofficially “ that I’d be better off having part sent directly to me as replacement straight forward and would be much faster since they were extremely busy this time of year and not sure when they would get to it once part received. Contact Ryobi once again and told I have to go thru service center because they do not send parts directly. I corrected agent and said that I had received a part for my warranty claim but they sent me the incorrect part. Then I was told I only get a onetime replacement order !! I would have to go through the service center or pay for the part myself. Ridiculous…. Cut out the middleman and support your customers directly when possible!!! I mentioned this leaves a bad feeling about ryobi and was told “that’s your decision as a consumer. Is there anything else?” Frustrated and pissed off ... show more
