I have leather-soled flat shoes that were still slippery on grass and glossy floors even after plenty of scuffing-up. They were actually so roughed-up that I was concerned the adhesive wouldn't hold, but it did, and quite well. I added these to the sole front and heel, and I was surprised that, in addition to not sliding, I didn't get the back strain I had stopped noticing from constantly correcting my balance and footing. The "clear" is more milky-frosted than not entirely clear, but nearly invisible. They've stayed well stuck to the shoes for over 4 months now, and stray bits of grass, leaves, or sand don't stick to the edges (which was a concern). To cover both the sole front and heel of a pair of flats, you'll need to use 3 sheets out of the 4-pack, so plan accordingly. I tried the trace-and cut technique on the first shoe, and roughly cut then trim after sticking on the other, (both in the provided instructions) and recommend the latter. They cut easily with scissors even after applying, and the outer edge was more cleanly flush with the shoe sole.

I have several pairs of slick bottom shoes, have put these on and they work great! Even have a pair that cracked across the ball of the foot and this covered those cracks. It also made that part of the shoe waterproof! Will buy more when needed.

Had some otherwise good shoes that were too slippery but also not expensive enough to be worth reshoring. These were very easy to cut out and put on and blended in great with the shoe. They added a lot of grip. My only gripe is the adhesion. After relatively heavy usage the adhesive started to wear down and wrinkle up and also tended to pick up some dirt whenever it was exposed. I am going to buy a new set and try adding some Shoe Glue on as I put it on the first time, sealing the edges with glue and will see how that holds up. Not an option if you have more expensive shoes you don't want to permanently alter (I'd just get them professionally done then if it's that important) but for shoes that aren't worth as much it will be worth a try

I own MANY pairs of high heels and this is a huge game changer on slippery surfaces. I hate slipping and sliding, which is no longer an issue. Most of my high heels have no traction but with this sole protector, I'm in full control. I've ordered a few pairs and am grateful I purchased them. Found them easy to cut into the perfect shape for my shoe and they actually stick immediately. Not one has peeled yet(durable). It's hardly noticeable, which I love. Comfortable to walk with. I'd buy these by the dozen and most definitely recommend to my stiletto( or any style of high heel) gang gals! Lifesaver. Thanks!

These were a great idea. I purchased them for my very expensive heels to wear during my wedding. They are comfortable and I didn’t even know they were there. They are slip resistant and good for protecting the soles of my shoes. They helped them from getting scraped up and was a good value. They are sticky on the bottom and was easy to put on. Overall the quality was good. I would buy them again for any of my other heels in the future. The thing is they will be semi permanent on your shoe.

Got these to prevent shoe slipping. The outside rubber grip seems to be good and would serve its purpose but the glue and stick endurance sucks. I cleaned my shoe soles first and dried to make sure it adhered well and applied. My first thought was it would be good. But after wearing and doing my usual walk to work doing steps, slopes, on concrete surfaces the patch began to slip/shift and then a portion folded and stuck together. The glue is sticky but sticks together better than to your shoe. This is winter for me and can only imagine how this glue performs on a hot day. Don’t buy it. They need to find a different adhesive that works on shoes and stays put.

I bought these specifically because they claim to reduce the loud sound made from wearing high heels, but they do nothing to quiet them while walking on a hard surface. The soles of my shoes weren't slippery to begin with, so I can't comment on added traction. They were easy enough to apply and have stayed on well after several days of wear. Because they have an adhesive backing, the cut edges are sticky and pick up dirt, hair, and other debris on the floor which is gross. This lessened after a couple of days as the stickiness wore off. I bought the black with the small diamond/grid style pattern.
