The media could not be loaded. It works perfectly. I used this water softener for my shower, I live in a very hard water area in Notting Hill London. Strip Test before showed in the region of 700+ ppm after the water softener was installed it reduced drastically to under 40ppm. I had to get adapters so the US GHT would fit British BHT and there is some leakage but its only hand tight, maybe a wrench will stop or reduce it. Otherwise very happy softened water significantly, already my hair and skin feels healthier and silkier. Also super quick international delivery.

I live in Las Vegas with very hard water (around 25 gpg). That said, this produced very soft water, but low quantity. I got around 200 gallons of soft water at a time before having to regen. Returned to try a different brand. I am giving three stars because it is a good price point and easy to install. Build quality seems decent and it does include a lot of useful connectors. Might be a softener to consider for very occasional and low use.

Works great. Took a bit to get it set up with no leaking. But I did get there. Very happy with this. Did water testing before and after installing this and confirmed with cut the hard water levels in half. I live in Norther Nevada and we have very hard water here.

Pretty nice. Definitely a good spot free rinse deionizer. Some of the fittings are useless. Made of aluminum they will swell up and corrode in hard water. So toss that junk when you get it.

I have found that this RV water filter takes about 5-10 mins to set up. It comes with teflon tape that I used on all the fittings. Our water is so hard that it leaves a mineral residue on everything. It includes the hose that connects then water source to the softener and has an optional single and Y adapters with diverter to turn off the flow of water from the source. I can connect a second hose to the water source without have to physically disconnect the water softener. The output has a 3/4 in fitting that hooks up to either the stand adapter or a quick release.
