Works better than I thought it would. Lost one star because the quick disconnect is completely useless and leaks extremely badly. Replace it with a standard shut off fitting and you’re set.

Seller gave a full refund! I purchased this Macerator in January have used it maybe 9 times and it stopped working. When it did work, it worked well. Initially I used a 1/2 inch hose and it clogged easily, but once I switched to a 3/4 inch hose - it worked well. I ran it 100ft and it would take about 15 mins to empty the tank. I really like the water flush valve. I have a message into the seller as it has a 3 year warranty, will update review if warranty is honored.

This worked awesome when it did however the fifth time I used it, it no longer works. Just as other reviews I've read, the motor hums but the blades no longer spin. Should have listened to their warnings but I chanced it and it burned me. Now I'm scrambling for a new one.

We bought an old house that needs work before we can live in it so we are temporarily living in our rv. Where we parked the rv is on the opposite side of the house from the septic tank so, not wanting to use my poop-cart to haul our waste to the other side of the house, we decided to buy a macerater pump. WOW! This thing works great and gets the job done quickly and easily with no mess and little smell. My only complaint would be that it isn’t available in a 120VAC version, only 12VDC. It would be much easier to run an extension cord than to lug a 12 volt battery over. The pump also gets a little warm after running for several minutes. Even so, this is a great buy and the price is well worth it. Make sure to get enough 3/4” garden hose to get from the pump to your septic tank inspection pipe. This hose will now only be for pumping out your tanks as you would never want to run drinking water through it after using this pump. I needed 100 feet and the pump gets it transferred with no problem. You’ll also need a hose for the rinse out connection on the pump. This will be connected from your garden hose faucet to the pump. This will be for rinsing between multiple dumps which are needed to remove the waste from your tanks. Buy this and make dumping your tanks so much better.
