Camping is how my family likes to spend our time and take the horses with us. You book so far in advance you have to deal with whatever the weather is like when you get there. I always try and position the horses with the shady side of the trailer and then the people side on the sunny side. The awning helps some, but this shade tarp brings it to the next level! It doesn’t matter where the sun is in the sky, we have shade. It conveniently slides into the groove in the awning and can be installed in just a few minutes. We lower the awning so we can reach it from the ground. Of your awning doesn’t allow you to do that, you can just slide a smaller portion in and then zipper the two together. It’s sometimes helpful when doing it as one piece to have a second person to lift the fabric and keep it straight while the other person pulls it through the tracks, but isn’t necessary. I have also found that it really helps with rain too. Some of the rain will seep in and down the fabric, but I found if I pull the fabric further out and extend it passed the awning it guides the rain outside of the awning area and kept all the people dry. It worked much better for rain than expected. Another thing I hadn’t considered was the amount of privacy. I felt it kept our camping gear more hidden. It also provided a more privacy in our busy campground. It also offered better protection for my expensive awning as well. It is more difficult to roll it in, but we just got really heavy duty drill in stakes to use with it and left it out during the rain showers. It worked great for us. I will warn you, if camping in a group it will make your campsite the more popular one. All our camping neighbors ordered themselves one. It was one of those things you don’t know you need, but now you don’t want to be without. I recommend it highly.

We bought this RV awning sun shade screen in the 8' x 11'3" size and it has been great so far. It feels strong but still flexible, and it really helps keep the inside of the RV cooler in the afternoon sun. Setup was easy, and it came with everything we needed like bungees, stakes, and a bag. It only took us about 15 minutes to install. The zipper makes it simple to adjust without having to remove the whole thing. It fit our awning nicely even though it is a little narrower. Just a heads-up, if you are in a windy area you might want to use a few extra stakes. Overall, it looks nice, feels durable, and made a big difference in our setup. Really happy with it!

This fit our Jayco awning perfectly, and was super fast and easy to install. Will be a game changer for our camping adventures, functions great for blocking out that pesky sun. Very impressed with this heavy duty shade. The weight is better than expected and functionality is very good. The color is jet black so shades very well. The fit is as expected but my tip would be to make sure you have three people for the initial install of the permanent strip that roles into your own awning. Then it should only take one or two people to put the shade up. I will be ordering another one of these sun shades.

Impressive drop down awning shade. I needed the 8x9 for my trailer. Upon reviewing the shade it is thick material and is constructed well. Good zipper quality and the 2ft portion that stayed connected has some loopholes to secure it. Eyelets on bottom shade are well secured. The screen mesh is thicker and with the uv protection is perfect for those spots in the morning or afternoon sun. Absolutely love that you can detach the shade from the awning bar with the zipper. The remaining shade gets rolled up with the awning. The plastic cord is about a 1/4 in and they give you about 6ins on both sides to insert in the awning bar. I'm excited to have this shade and can't wait to use. It does come with 3 ground stakes and ball bungee cords with a carry bag. Update... I'm very pleased with this awning shade. It went on easily and has made a hugh difference in camping. Well designed and is perfect for blocking sun. If you're Looking for one you can't beat it for the money.

This RV cover works great as I tried in on my RV and I like it so much due to it's grommet based anchoring versatility, I also realized that I can also adapt and use it as a cover for an old wooden box trailer which I also use for camping and hauling. It helps protect the wood sides from harsh UV elements.
