The media could not be loaded. I bought this ponytail solely based off a video I saw on Instagram where she was doing a product review. It looked really good on her, and she said it was cheap, so I hopped over to Amazon to check out the reviews. There were a lot of mixed reviews, some saying the ends were bad and the unit shed a lot, and others saying the quality was great, and the hair was soft. My birthday is coming up in a week and after doing a big chop over a year ago (plus having pretty thin hair) I wanted some length and fullness, so I figured for less than $15 it couldn’t hurt to check it out and see if it would work for me. BAYBEEEEEEE!!!!! When I tell you this piece is bomb, ITS BOMB!!! I really didn’t know what color to get, because my hair is super dark brown (basically black), and the 1b was a PERFECT match!! It’s also crazy how much the waves match the natural texture of my hair! So now, let me get to the pros and cons…. PROS: this unit is pretty thick, and covers the tracks and your hair very well. It’s also very soft, and feels like real human hair. The bottom inch and a half or two aren’t as wavy as the rest of the hair, but if it was that big of a problem for someone they could easily cut it. I actually don’t mind it at all. CONS: I wish the part of the track with the comb that wraps around your hair was thinner. If feels very bulky once wrapped all the way, and I have to lay the hair wrapping part just right to make sure the base is fully concealed. The comb to “secure” the unit to your hair is honestly garbage. I wish it were a snap clip of some sort, because due to the weight of the unit, it can be pulled off fairly easy unless you use additional bobby-pins to secure it. I personally don’t like the bobby-pin route, because they give me killer headaches. So a better comb/clip would be good. Now this one is a negative, but one that is easy managed…. It does get quick tangled, but I was honestly roughhousing it a bit. I combed it out a few times after man handling, and it made it too frizzy and loose some of the curl definition. I just simply mixed some hair conditioner with hair mousse, in a spray bottle with warm water, and gave it a good spritz. It combed through so easily, and honestly overall had very minimal shedding. I shed more than this unit does! BUY IT!!

If you’re looking for a quick and easy hairstyle to do. You should definitely buy this ponytail. The length is accurate, the only thing is that it’s synthetic so what I do is twist it up at nighttime so it does get tangled.

The hair is super soft and it feels nice. The issue I had was that it's not truly a wrap ponytail, you would have to insert your actual hair into the hole between the thick part of the ponytail and the thin part. I think this is to try and hide your actual hair. I get the idea of what they were trying to do, but the delivery fell short. The hair itself is thick, however, you would have to tease the hair at the top of the ponytail to make it look decent. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this.

The cost says it all, packaging was ridiculous. It was not sealed it arrived in its package as is with the label on it and not sealed, so anyone could easily open it to peek. The volume of the hair is nice though. The hair is not bad.

I honestly love the hair! It did what I needed it to do. The above pictures are after wearing it for four days straight after a long weekend trip that involved lots of moving around and dancing! As long as you know how to secure it tightly you don’t really need to take it off I was even able to sleep in it with my bonnet on. I did refresh it every day by running my fingers through it with some leave in conditioner and that would add some shine and moisture back to it. As you can see from the photos it did get a little bit frizzy and tangled but it still looks really good especially if you want to go for a more natural look. The only thing I wish is that the part where you put your real hair in was a little bit wider for us girls with thicker natural hair. Other than that I really like it and plan on buying more so I can do pigtails!
