Goes on the rv awning easily. We were wondering if it would keep the heat off of our rv and mat and it worked like it said it would, what a difference. My husband said it feels like we added a room on. It helps block some of the lights from neighbors and the city. We did not test temperature but it was Noticeably cooler under the shadecover. We lost a couple trees at the campground this year which used to provide all day shade, now leaving us with all day sun. It was HOT!!! I can't believe the temperature difference from using the shade. I just received this sun screen. Ordered the 9 x 7 foot for our 24 foot camper. I tried it out yesterday. It fits perfectly and absolutely provides a huge amount of relief from the afternoon sun. The shade it provides is not absolute but it dies cut the intensity of the sun to a comfortable level. Mounts to the front of the awning and to the camper. It comes with bracket meant to be screwed to the camper. I didn't want to drill into the camper so I used epoxy to mount the bracket. The only reason for 4 stars is due to the fact that I can't voich for durability due to just receiving it. The material seems strong and durable. Time will tell. We purchased this item for our 2021 Cherokee arctic wolf however our awning is not made with a slot in the roller bar to allow this item to work. That's the fault of a cheaply manufactured awning. My cousin orders the same item for their travel trailer and it works amazing.
