Description

Tiny Footprint Coffee, the world’s first carbon negative coffee. Through a unique collaboration between Roastery 7 and the Mindo Cloudforest Foundation, one an Artisan coffee roastery and the other a nonprofit conservation organization, the two teamed up to create the ultimate combination of good karma. So, how is our coffee carbon negative you might ask? It’s simple, really. It takes 4 lbs. of CO2 to produce and distribute 1 lb. of our coffee. For every pound that’s sold, we donate a portion of the proceeds to fund reforestation in Ecuador’s Mindo cloud forest. Over time, these trees will remove 54 lbs. of CO2 from the atmosphere. You see? More CO2 removed than emitted. Our reforestation efforts along the Northwestern Andes of Ecuador help to plant native tree species throughout the Mindo Cloud Forest region in heavily deforested areas. These trees not only sequester massive amounts of carbon from the air, but also provide habitat to hundreds of local bird species, reinforce soil conservation techniques, and rebuild water tables. The Mindo Cloudforest Foundation works directly with local landowners to provide jobs related to the care and redevelopment of the cloud forest. Making coffee great takes time, effort and passion. At Tiny Footprint Coffee, we pour endless hours into sourcing the finest, sustainably-grown Arabica coffee beans from around the world. Beans that are not only shade-grown, but also organic certified, and most often fair-trade or Rain Forest Alliance certified. We also purchase coffee from small, family-owned farms that are not fair-trade eligible, yet grow some of the most beautiful, best tasting coffees on the planet. We do all of the roasting and training from our roastery in Minneapolis, MN where we’re working hard to make the entire roastery carbon negative – from fully bio-degradable coffee bags, high-efficiency lighting and fuel-efficient ribbon burners on our roaster, to composting coffee grounds and reducing waste around the shop.

  • Clean Coffee

Love the coffee! No chemical taste and smooth!

  • You won't find a better value in barista grade coffee!
Flavor Name: Whole bean Size: 48 Ounce (Pack of 1)
This coffee is very smooth and rich. No bitter after taste. I'm very impressed with the value. My first cup in the morning is coffee with a shot of espresso black. The Nicuraguan coffee exceeded my expectations. The bonus is that it's fair trade coffee!

  • Great, smooth, rich tasting coffee!
Flavor Name: Whole bean Size: 48 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Finallly! I've tried 4 or 5 whole bean, a couple grounds and This one's the WINNER. I've been an instant coffee drinker until this year so yes, many tries to get same or close enough strength to Anthony's. Definitely keeping as backup. This is the 1st dark whole bean I haven't had to add some Anthony's in. Ground or whole bean it's still 1/3 cup for each cup of coffee, so next is to find out if 3lbs will last long enough. Been getting 2lbs and that's indeed not enough. I only have 2 cups a day but when you're talking 2/3rds coffee every day, doesn't go far. Hoping this will last maybe little over 2 weeks 🙏 It's the smoothest as well, it's just perfect, smells great. This now again Finally, will be my go to coffee. ... show more

  • So fresh
Flavor Name: Whole bean Size: 48 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Big fan of this coffee. Comes vacuum sealed. We grind up a few days worth at a time and it stays nice and fresh. Great taste - bold & smooth.

  • Good story. Beans are okay
Flavor Name: Whole bean Size: 48 Ounce (Pack of 1)
The reason to buy these beans is the background story and ability to do good. The beans were packaged in clear plastic as pictured. They produced good foam, suggesting some freshness. The aroma is smokey with some tobacco notes over a butteriness. Roast is more medium or medium-dark than dark. Roughly 20% large, flat robusta beans with the rest being arabica. Flavor has two main elements that each stand out strongly. On top is an acid note. Underneath is a buttery flavor. Very mild cinnamon spice notes may be there, but they are subtle at best. Not too profound, but drinkable. ... show more

  • It tastes great!
Flavor Name: Whole bean Size: 48 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I am new to grinding fresh beans so I can't speak for the acidity or other nuances. I do like the taste and it makes for a good cup of cappuccino. It smells so good and does seem smooth. I also like the sustainability and the effort of the brand to be organic.

  • A Must-Have for Espresso Lovers
Flavor Name: Whole bean Size: 48 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I’ve been using these whole beans in my espresso maker for nearly two years, and I couldn’t be happier. My machine has a grinder attachment, so I always get the freshest coffee possible, and these beans deliver exceptional flavor every time. I first discovered this brand at a local coffee shop and was thrilled to find it available in larger packages on Amazon. The beans are consistently fresh, with a rich, balanced taste that makes every cup feel like a treat. Whether you’re pulling shots or making lattes, this coffee never disappoints. If you’re serious about good coffee, I highly recommend giving this brand a try. It’s been my go-to since day one, and I can’t imagine using anything else! ... show more

  • Organic and delicious!
Flavor Name: Whole bean Size: 48 Ounce (Pack of 1)
These beans have such a beautiful taste, we buy it every month and the consistency is appreciated. Organic is the only coffee we drink but so many on the market fail to impress. I definitely recommend this brand!
