Alternator fit where it was supposed to go. Charges well so far..... The Bottom Mounting Bolt threads apparently weren't cut properly. I made sure that I started it by hand so I know that it was not "cross threaded". Upon tightening said Lower Mounting Bolt it required significant effort and time to make sure that it was properly seated in its location. It actually felt very tight despite being only half way to its final resting place. ... show more

I purchased this alternator for my RAV4 after reading the good review. I like the fact this alternator has all new parts and I didn’t want to deal with remanufacture ones. It was delivered quick and packed well. It came with a test result. The installation was easy and it performed well. I got a constant 14.2 volt with a full load. However, I do wish it could put out a constant 14.5 volt. Other than that, I’m happy with its performance. Time will tell how long it would last. ... show more

I bought this for a 2012 Toyota Camry with less than 100k miles on it. A bit odd for the alternator to die so early, but things happen, I get it. Obviously I was skeptical about buying a no-name brand that I've never heard of, but when name brand replacements from stores are well over $200, I took a gamble. Honestly though, these have to be coming from the same factory or sourced from them or something. How many factories are there making the shells / windings for these cars? I guess when you buy no-name off brand, you're doing a gamble on the Quality Checks vs name brand. See pictures for quality / fitment. Everything seems to be 1:1. Dropped right in and started outputting correct voltage just find. I'll try to update in a few months / year with how it's working so far. ... show more
