Definitely will add shade and privacy. I noted other reviewers mentioned it fit rather wide. My awning is 19' I ordered a 18' screen. It is centered on my awning tube. With the large section unzipped and removed the remaining strip rolls up fine on my manual awning.

Absolutely a game changer! I always wanted one one the more expensive enclosures with windows and doors but this works just fine for 1/5th the price! I'm going to sew velcro strips down the corners and maybe a door on one end. I ordered a big 9'x16' outdoor straw carpet for the floor and I'll get a narrow strip of sunbrella for under the RV. It will be nearly bug proof at that point. I only hope the material is truely sun resistant and it can all stand up to winds 20mph and less like I've heard they do. I very rarely see winds any stronger but I'll be able to take it all down in 20 minutes. Such a great purchase! 5 stars!

Well made. Much thicker than the one I had previously. Love the zipper about a third of the way down. Makes it much easier the thread in to track on awning and much simpler to remove lower half when winds come up

I love this product. My wife and I took early fall camping in the mountains of Colorado. These shades do an amazing job of blocking wind while protecting your skin from UV rays. There was a noticeable difference in how cool it felt outside, due to the cold wind, and inside the awning area. Surprisingly, the shade panels also did a very good job of holding the heat inside the walls of the awning area, but they vented enough to allow the smoke from my pellet grill to flow out. These shades are made of a heavy-duty PVC-like material with metal eyelets for a secure mounting option. The provided mounting implements allow for a wide range of securement options.

The 17'3" shade I ordered arrived on the promised date and the shipping box was in perfect condition. When I opened the box, the first thing I noticed was 2 tears in the plastic bag (See Pictures). After close inspection, I was satisfied the shade was not damaged and proceeded to unfold it. I found the accessory bag and noticed a deformed hold-down stake (See Picture). While looking at the included parts list I discovered the manufacturer enclosed the tie-down package for a shorter version of the shade which included 4 stakes and 4 bungees (See Picture). The 17'3" shade is to have 5 tie-down stakes and bungees. Installation of the shade on our A&E/Dometic awning went smoothly, and after unzipping the lower portion I tested the rollup-in-place option; through several close/open cycles it worked as expected, with no issues. The 24" dropdown is exactly what we wanted to keep February's afternoon sun off our RV patio in AZ. I contacted Amazon to request a new packet of the correct accessories, but was told that since the product is handled and shipped by Amazon, the only way to correct the issue was a complete return and replacement of the entire sunshade. That seemed like a waste of time and money, and no guarantee the next unit might not also have issues hidden in the factory packaging. Amazon offered a credit of enough to cover the cost of buying the additional/defective items locally, and I am satisfied. Currently we are only using the top portion of the shade, but I will update this review after the weather warms up more and we use the entire sunshade. If I could split the rating, I would rate the manufacturer a 4 due to sloppiness, and Amazon a 5 for their top-notch customer service.
