I installed these SMANOW drop down running boards on my 2025 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab and I am extremely impressed. The fitment is excellent with no issues at all. Everything lined up perfectly and the installation was straightforward. I really love the look. The textured black finish looks great against the truck and feels solid and well made. There were no scratches or defects out of the box, and shipping was faster than expected. They arrived earlier than the posted delivery date. The dealership quoted me $1,119 for the OEM Predator side steps, and these are a perfect alternative at a much better price. Honestly, I do not feel like I gave anything up going with these instead. One note on installation: I had my son helping me, which made the job much easier. It can be done solo, but you would want to pre stage all hardware and take your time when aligning and tightening everything. Overall, excellent quality, great fitment, and a fantastic value. UPDATE: I have changed my review to 5 stars. First, I would like to say that the CS provided by this seller deserves 10 stars. The seller reached out to me and resolved my issue. I can see a difference with the coating/material on my new boards. No matter what these running boards are definitely eye catching and look really nice on these Tacoma's. I am extremely happy with my running boards and with this seller. I will be looking at what other products he sells, because I will purchase from them again. I will post new pictures soon. Omg! I Ordered these side runners on November 28, 2025. Did not put them on until mid-December and they are starting to rust and it's only March! I am so upset! What a waste of money! Please find something better! Do not but these cheap rusting side runners! I should have listened to the negative reviews! ... show more

These running boards are perfect! If you are looking to snazzy up your ride while also providing functionality these are it! They look amazing, nice grippy finish, they fit perfectly, very sturdy and stable, no show of wear yet. I have nothing bad to say about these!

These do not fit my 07 tundra double cab as they said they did. I had to get all of the brackets put together and then try to install them to learn that one of the 3 sets of holes do not line up with the trucks oem holes. Then I had to take a weeks worth of time to send msgs back and forth with the 3rd party company who sells them. They kept telling me things like "try them on the other side" ... which is totally irrelevant as they are side specific. Now they want me to disassemble them and repackage them and return them. The box they arrived in was damaged and then had to be torn apart to get the steps out, which means I now have to buy a box specifically designed to fit these 7' long chunks of metal ($80 for the box!), which is RIDICULOUS! This whole process has been one I'd definitely recommend staying far away from as it's costing me more time & $ than it ever should, especially considering they sent me the wrong item to begin with. I am still waiting to find time in my busy week to drive 45min to the nearest FedEx depot to pkg them up and send them back for my refund. I'll update this once I finish the return to let everyone know how that part went. SPEND THE EXTRA $ on a better set from a better company and said yourself this unnecessary headache! The photo shows how far off the brackets are from the oem steps. ... show more

This is a sturdy set of running boards for my Nissan frontier pro 4X, had them on for 6 months at the time of this review, still mounted very solidly to my vehicle, no evidence of any corrosion, textured finish is holding up very well. Purchased during the winter holidays, got a great deal on them much cheaper than purchasing OEM running boards from Nissan. Only disadvantage from OEM is you cannot remove the steps for more ground clearance when needed, but I knew this before I purchased. For the price I paid, no regrets. ... show more

Came very well packaged. Seems like good sturdy construction, went on with relative ease. Instructions weren’t the best but not too hard to figure out with some Google-ing. Had to kinda man-handle the brackets as the holes didn’t exactly line up with the bars. Thats the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. I got a 2026 Tacoma SR that was in need of side steps and these fit perfect. They are easily installed for anyone mechanically inclined. They look good on the truck and serve their purpose well. Extra hardware was provided which is handy in case you lose some.
