UPDATES - Steamer pot stopped working after several weeks, a little after the Amazon return window ended. However, Amazon customer service was great and got me in contact with the correct seller, as I simply went to the website of the brand that is listed on the device and that was apparently NOT the correct seller. The seller has been great working with me to replace my broken steamer pot. ORIGINAL - I have a lot to say about the problems of other types of portable saunas. In short, this model solved all those issues! It also came with some really nice water absorbent towels and doesn’t smell like it just came from a chemical lab. I recently purchased a full size steam sauna and had a lot of issues with it. The full size one would collect water on the floor and leak all over the place. It would also let steam out of the seams. They call those “portable saunas” but they’re huge and they take forever to put together. I could not keep it inside anymore because it was leaking so much water onto my carpet. I also had issues keeping it outside as it would just blow away in the wind unless I placed a Yeti cooler inside it. Even then, I think it started tearing at the seams and made the problem even worse. This sauna solves those problems. It is made just like a pop up tent which TRULY makes it portable. The seams are not stitched together like the other cheaply made “portable saunas.” From a quick inspection, it actually appears to be seamless at the corners. I think it’s impossible not to have any moisture come through the bottom of a portable sauna but this model ALSO comes with an outer and inner water absorbing mat/pad to avoid making a large mess on your carpet or floors. Everything about this tent is clearly made with the highest quality standards. I am super impressed with this company and this brand. There was even a QR Code with a super easy how to video for full set up. Also, a perk about the size of this sauna, although it is only large enough to sit in, it makes it feel a lot hotter and it warms up even quicker.

Let’s first of all clear up what this item is not. It is not a multi thousand dollar permanent sauna installation. However, if one doesn’t have access to a high end sauna or steam room experience, this unit can be very enjoyable. If you have limited space, limited time, and/or limited budget, this unit can be placed almost anywhere and rapidly give you an enjoyable steam sauna. There is a size limitation. I think if you are over 6’2” /200lbs or have limited mobility you will have difficulty fitting into this unit. The included chair is small but ok for a 20 min steam. Set up is simple. The included waterproof pads work well. The steam generator gets the steam flowing after a 10 min warmup. The included towels are nice. I put one on the chair and wrap the other one around the interior steam tube to protect my feet from the hot tube. Lastly, you can modulate the air flow inside the unit by opening the door and window zippers a tad. I leave the unit going full blast and adjust the zippers but you can also adjust the generator. After use, I leave the door and window open to dry. Every week or so I remove the pads to dry. No mold or mustiness has developed. Perhaps at some future time I will have access to a high end permanent sauna, but for now, at this price point, this item really fits the bill.

Upon first time use, within 5 minutes of warming up. Heard a large cracking sound. Lid completely lifted from top, started to crack and created a hole. I am not able to use because the steam seeps through the holes and crack. Not sure why plastic was used. Definitely not able to withstand the heat. Very disappointed!!

Great product for the money. I really wanted $3000 wood one but don't have a place for it and do not want to spend the money for it. I purchased this one after reading many other reviews. I use this product every day if not every other day since I got it in. I love the way I feel after just 15 minutes in it and look forward to getting in it. It originally said it was going to take several weeks to be delivered but I received it within a week or less. Pros: Steams up fairly quickly. It takes a few minutes for the water to heat up in the steamer before it starts. Once it does it produces plenty of steam. Easy set up, just watch the video provided. Does not smell like plastic, which was very important to me. Does not leak, a mat is provided for under the outside and the floor of the inside. I have mine in my bedroom on carpet and it does fine. I watch TV through the plastic window, just wipe it off often and turn up the volume on the TV. Be prepared to sweat! It is not a con for me but I am only 5'2" and size 4 so this tent is perfect for me. I can stand in it but my head hits the top. There is plenty of room to sit in it. I looked at other ones but was discouraged from the pipe running across the middle. This one does not have that, the steamer sits on the floor and can be moved around. I put fresh mint near the steamer, cant wait to try others types of aromatics. Cons: The chair is small, it fits me fine, I am sure you could get another camping chair to put in there if it doesn't fi you. You have to wipe it down after each use. I have a squeegy I use to get the bulk of the water out and then leave the door and window open after wiping down with the towel.

I owned a portable steam room a few years ago and the Runitude cost half as much and is far superior. The old one had a frame of PVC pipes that had to be assembled and made it difficult to dry out. The Runitude room pops up and self assembles with no pipes. This one seems nearly dry after use. Puzzling. The 1000 W steam generator is plenty powerful. It has a range of 0 to 15. I use it at 7. Lots of added items. A rug outside. A rug inside. A chair and even a towel.
