UPDATE… Rubbermaid eventually did reach out to me concerning the issue. After a bunch of emails and pictures they did send me a new garbage can and lid 😀 Also a plus was now my kids have a new giant box to color in! I LOVE this garbage can because it is an elegant white and very easy to work, but……it had arrived with a broken loop on the lid. I thought I could make it work because the other two loops were fine but that lid just did not like me. It would not stay secure without that end loop. I contacted the company so maybe they could just send me a new lid but no luck, I haven’t heard a peep. This sucks because not only was this can a little more than I wanted to spend in the first place but I did because it was pretty, but now I have go out and buy another garbage receptacle just to throw my garbage in 🤦🏻♀️ Make sure you fully inspect the lid loops before you have your kids color all over and inside the shipping box it came in‼️ ... show more

This waste can fits beautifully into our kitchen and cleans up very easily if something drips or splashes onto it or inside of it. It came fully assembled and the foot pedal opens the lid with ease. Also, the lid stays open if you need it to do so. It's a practical and nice addition to our kitchen.

Purchased this trash can to replace the exact model I already owned. The lid finally cracked. I purposely chose to buy this same can as it’s been very durable and holds bags very well. BUT, why on earth do the stickers need to be so difficult to remove?! I had to apply GooGone multiple times and scrape it off with a credit card! Now it’s all scuffed up before it’s seen the first piece of trash thrown in it. I know it’s just a trash can, but it’s annoying. ... show more

Although i had A hard time trying to place the rod in so that the step thingy could work i love This trash can. Great size and like most of the other reviews that said the handles to keep the bag in broke mine have not! It works great and also easy to clean

the product came partially assembled with the lid on, but it was not properly assembled so the lid did not raise when the pedal was pressed. I had to forcibly remove the lid to put the metal rod in properly. The bag locking feature also does not work as expected and will not stay locked in place unless the lid is closed and pressed back down. UPDATE: It works fine once you get used to it, the bag lock just sucks to deal with every time you swap a new one in but it does it's job. Still need to get better quality control on the incorrect pre-assembly though ... show more

I'm not paying 3 figures for a bin, nor do I need another useless device that uses electricity for no reason. This trashcan fulfills all my needs. Yes the stickers can leave residue. Use a blow dryer or heat gun (careful!) to remove stickers.

It feels a little cheap and bulky, but it does the job. I don’t understand trash can prices lately, but this one is a decent price; which is why I decided to get it. I was needing a kitchen trash can, but didn’t like how it looked. I ended up deciding to put this one on my back porch just outside my kitchen door and putting a smaller one in the cabinet under my kitchen sink.
