  • Good value for the size
Style: Grill
Overall this is a great little grill for the price. For the future readers, I bought this during the COVID19 quarantine of 2020, and let me tell you, this thing has helped keep my sanity. It’s very easy to use and clean up, so we’ve been using it a lot since we can’t leave the house right now. My husband set it up on his own in about 30-45 and he also made a mistake, so it would take less time if you didn’t do what he did (put the legs on backwards lol). It’s a good size. We’re a family of four and it has plenty of room for all our food to be cooked at once. We haven’t used the smoker feature yet, but for just normal grilling it’s worked beautifully. Keeps the heat in well, the thermometer on the hood is useful and works great, and the exhaust pipe works as it should also. The lid is easy to prop up if you want to grill in the rain like we did yesterday... we used a fork. It was perfect. So yeah, definitely get this if you’re looking for a simple but effective grill :) also want to add I saw some mentions of it being too short for tall people... my husband is 6’1” and I’m 5’10”... it’s definitely not too short for us. You’d have to be pretty massive for it to be too short. ... show more

  • Awesome product! I love it!

I used to use the Weber 18 inch grill. This is my first large offset smoker grill for my backyard and it is lovely. I get this one on I used to use the Weber 18 inch grill. This is the my first large offset smoker grill for my backyard and it is lovely. I get this one on sale and its quality definitely worth every penny I spent. It is larger than I expected. The grill grids are very heavy but the shells are thin. The assembly is fairly straight and all items are properly named. It takes me about 40 minutes to build it, the only trick is that you need to lay down the parts when connecting the cover. Until now, I already use it twice and both the offset smoker and the regular grill work fine. One of the designs I love most is the adjustable charcoal pan. It not only let you adjust the height of the charcoal easily to control the heat, the extra pan below the grid bar can collect the ashes and simplify the clean work. I see many complaints about the paint peelings when using the offset smoker. To me, I do not see this issue yet. When I do the smoking, I use my homemade charcoal basket to locate the charcoals rather than let them spread around the bottom. The basket is originally for my 18 inch Weber, but it is perfect size for the offset smoker. In general, I love this grill and price wise it is unbeatable. ... show more

  • Quality smoker
Style: Grill
As a smoker, this does the job quite well. It is made durably and handles the heat quite well. The paint does have a tendency to peel if you do not season it. I have done steak and chicken for the first week and had great flavor. I used hickory and mesquite and had great results. I put 4 stars due to the screws and holes which did not line up completely. ... show more

  • Durable and Good Quality!
Style: Grill
The directions were easy to follow. It took me about 35-45 minutes. I am basically a stay at home wife and it was easy for me to assemble so it's very beginner friendly. My only thing was the bottom shelf looks different so I had to make sure I had all of the correct pieces before starting. All in all, I would recommend this smoker. It's a bit larger than I imagined but for me, that's a plus. I will update once we fire it up. Hopefully, it holds up. It does say that you cannot go over 400 degrees or the paint will start to peel. There is a temperature guage for reference so we can avoid it. ... show more

  • Best bang for the buck!
Style: Grill
No problems with pealng paint at all. Even if it does peal who cares put some oil on it and burn it in, presto black metal. I used to have a professional off set smoker and it was super easy to maintain your temp, this one is a bit tricky to keep a constant temp for smoking with out the dreaded white smoke. But still gets the job done. Update!: So I added a stainless steel dog bowl to the area under the cooking grate right next to where the fire box empties into the smoke chamber and filled it with water and it helps to maintain the temperature in the smoke chamber when smoking meats and also keeps them from drying out. Also I'm using a 4 zone digital thermometer as the lid thermometer is not accurate at the smoking level. I have done ribs. Pork loin, and some beef in the smoker and all have turned out amazing! Also get your self a bellows to get the fire going when the heat dies out and pre heat your legs on top of the fire chamber before adding them it makes a world of difference. ... show more

  • A complete disaster from beginning to end.
Style: Grill
Last Sunday, I pulled all the chicken and steak out of my freezer and placed it in the refrigerator to thaw because my new grill was (according to Amazon) going to be at my house on Monday. Monday came and went. No grill. Tuesday came and went. No grill. "Well, surely it will be here on Wednesday," I thought. Wrong. Still no grill. On Thursday evening, my grill finally arrived, and guess what my family had for dinner? Dominos Pizza. The meat I had taken out of the fridge on Sunday had spoiled. Cooking out would have to wait one more day. Well let me tell you, it was not WORTH the wait. A few minutes after lighting the charcoal, the paint started flaking off--inside of the grill AND the outside. Also, the top rack began to slightly warp. Never in my life have I seen a grill this cheaply made. I've had better ones from the dollar store. Honestly, if it weren't such a pain and so expensive to return, I would have done it already. The grill is now a major eye-sore sitting in my back yard, and I've only used it once. **The delayed shipping I experienced was not the seller's fault, and it had no impact on the score of this review. My review is solely based on the quality of the grill itself. I just wanted to add a little context so you all could understand why buying this was such a disaster for me.** ... show more
