I was a little worried when I saw the photo...I figured they can't be as good as they look...but wow, these are pretty much perfect. My 8 year old son opened the box and pulled the pieces out and I was stunned...there were 5 pieces per stool -- base, lever, pole that does the rising, base of seat and the seat. I figured we were missing parts. But literally, all you have to do is screw in 4 screws using the included allen wrench, pop the base into the level and you are good. It took about 3 minutes per chair. They wiped clean (although they came packaged perfectly clean). They are heavy and won't tip over, the photo is exactly what they look like - shiny chrome, white vinyl seats. My son LOVES them. They can pass for modern or vintage 60's style, depending on your decorating taste. I still can't believe we got these for $65 total WITH shipping. I can't recommend these enough. Get them. Get them NOW.

These chairs are just too easy to assemble. They are a lovely pure white, not off white or ivory masquerading as white, which was a relief. I can see the bases getting smudged very easily, but a microfiber cloth would take care of that. The stools seem sturdy enough for my 125 lb, but I do find that they sink about two inches when I sit down and remain fixed in that position after I stand up. In my experience, the airlift function should make the seat give a little when you sit, but return to the set height once the weight is removed. I'll have to monitor how this holds up over time as I use them for dining at my kitchen counter/bar and for guest seating.

We rarely eat at the table but my husband and I wanted to put our custom mirror mosaic table to use. I looked up a lot of chairs just like these but they were very pricey. Not wanting to spend too much on seats that'd barely be used, we settled on getting these! Turned out to be the best idea. They don't look cheap and are very sturdy. Not to mention they go great with the table. We now eat at the table EVERYDAY. Shipping was quicker than expected and setup was easy. I was able to do it 8 months pregnant. (Didn't feel like waiting for hubby to get home.)

Good price, easy to put together, decent quality. These aren't the most comfortable stools but our kids use them at our breakfast bar and don't mind how they feel. Wouldn't recommend for long sitting sessions or for adults - seat doesn't extend far enough underneath adult thighs to feel comfortable. They seat also slopes down a bit, so they don't feel very supportive. The pro for our large family of 8 is we can get 4 on one side of the breakfast bar with room for our little kids to fit between them for easy on/off AND they can be pushed almost all the way in, despite a metal bar running the length of the table. And they swivel, which the kids love. (We have a different set of higher end stools on the other side of the bar for the adults/older kids.)

I Love these bar stools! They are so cool looking and don't take up any room at all. Their sleek modern look matches well my very modern house. They aren't the most comfortable chair in the world, but I love to swirl around in them. They give me enough comfort for the time I am in them. If your significant other is over 230, they may not like them, but average weight, maybe under 190 for a man would probably be fine. I didn't look to see if there was a weight limit, didn't really think about it, but they are adjustable so they won't break...they just slide down a little lower for a heavier set man. I saw the aqua ones after I purchased these, I'm still tempted to get those and put the white ones in my kitchen.

Disclaimer: We bought two sets of these chairs in 2018 and loved them. HOWEVER... I just bought another set, paid more for them from the same seller, and was throughly let down. First, the dirty, disheveled box came with a big hole in it, and then one of the chairs sits crooked (can see with the eye and by feel). Plus, the faux leather is no longer a soft, comfortable chair, but instead a hard, rough surface that does not form or give to your body as you slide and sit on it. It feels like vinyl. Then I added a picture of the dinky cover that sits at the bottom of the chrome post because it is plastic and does not seal or latch in place. Very cheap and tacky. The chair is still pretty (if you forget about the uneven plastic cover down low and the shoddy “tack weld” job underneath), but looks is decieving and this is NOT the chair I bought two years ago. I’m not sure if I should return the whole thing and forget it or try to get my crooked second chair replaced... The “good” chair is pictured so you can judge it’s appearance as is. Facts: Written August 2020 Box came from China!! Box weight (with two chairs) says both 24 & 27 lbs (not sure which is correct).
