This is my very first purchase of a cargo bag or any kind or cargo roof carrier. I've looked at cargo boxes vs cargo bags. I went with the bag due to the ease of set up, removal and stow away. I ordered the 16 Cubit Feet for our 2018 ford explorer. it was exactly what we needed. The product itself was great. It is exactly what they advertise. I was very happy with it. It is strong and definitely waterproof. Great quality materials and easy to fold after use. We drove over 1,000 miles this summer and the bag performed excellent. We drove in light and very very heavy rain and wind. And the bag protected our items. No rips, no noise on the road. Even driving over 75 MPH.... But I did notice a slight dip in our MPG as mentioned in other reviews of bags and cargo boxes. So that's nothing out of the ordinary. Although you don't need a roof rack but having a cross bar was very helpful. One issue with 16 cubit or a larger bag is that it has to sit on top of the rear cross bar. But it did very well. And I love the fact that you can remove and fold the bag away when we reach our destinations. But here are things I've learned in general for this product or any other carrier bags. First, I had an item that was slightly taller. Although it fit in the bag with other items, but due to the low clearance of our garage, I had to load that item in the bag outside of the garage... And yes, you've guessed it.... In the rain.... Second, getting up and down with opening and closing the bag was getting tiring. We had a long road trip needing overnights in hotel to get to our destinations the next day. To avoid going up and down all the time, we packed a few clothes in one separate bag and keep inside the car with us for the overnight stay to avoid going up and down to unzip and zip the bag. Especially when it rains. That's the only time your items will get wet. Third, Not sure why, but they did not include tie down hooks. Although it doesn't matter if you have a roof rack. But if you don't, those tie down hooks definitely helps. I bought an extra strap with those tie down hooks for extra protection. As for a carrier bag, I think this is the best one out of all the others that I've searched. After our long trip under the natural elements, I have to admit that the bag performed very well.

I purchased this cover to hold my folding ORU kayak. It makes a great 'bag' for the tandem folding kayak. kayak in the This keeps the parts with the kayak all in one secure package. The bag is easy to use. The zippers work great and zip all around three sides which makes putting larger items in it easier. The the storm flaps seem to seal well with velcro which gives extra protection from water penetration through the zippers. The quality of the material is heavy gauge and all the seams are tight with no gaps.

We bought this to aid in our move across country. It was easy to install. It held quite a lot and held up throughout our over 1400 mile journey. the material was stronger than I expected an was actually better made than another one we had for years that was more expensive. The stra ps stayed put for the most dfpart. I think we had to adjust them once or twice along the way but we were drivig in some high wind conditions. We drove through rain and none of our items got wet! I would definitely buy another one for our other car if needed.

I bought this for my daughter for a trip to Lake Shasta from Eugene with her college buddies. For the price I actually wasn't expecting much, but it did great. She then drove cross country with it after school ended ... 2,400 miles and again no issues at all, even with a surprise snow storm at Yellowstone. I'm impressed ... great bag "despite" the low price.

Bought this in 2020 and coming back to leave a review. This bag has moved me across the country twice and has held EVERYTHING together. A few wear and tear marks but holds up great through a windstorm in Kansas or hail in Colorado.

I installed new adjustable cross bars with this rooftop bag. It was good that the bars are adjustable because this bag is big and I needed to move the bars apart further. I then put our two full size suitcases in it (not carryon size). Perfect fit, I still had more room on the sides to stuff if more soft sided bags. Then the next day before our trip, it poured out and the wind was whipping and I thought this is a great test. The following day we left on our two day trip south about 1000 miles and all was good, no issues at all, dry, secure, and quiet. The return 1000 mile trip was similar more rain and wind and again no issues. I did put a small combo lock on the zipper as a small deterrent but we had no issues with theft, what would they score underwear and socks and clothes LOL. Also, we used a smaller to go bag for our supplements and electronics, because it was easier and quicker when we stopped than trying to get in the rooftop bag and what if the weather was bad, we didnt want to be opening and closing the rooftop bag. I am really happy with the product and the value for the price.

Straight out of the package the Velcro strips that hold the rain guard portion down fell off. Tried to contact the seller via the card they left in the package and got a response saying email doesn't exist, tried to call their number provided in the package and it to no surprise said the number wasn't connected. It'll still work just crazy it fell apart right outta the box. Fits 2 suitcases perfect and has a little extra room for pillows and random small things. I don't trust the tie down spots either, they feel solid but after it fell apart upon opening I don't trust most of the quality, good price tho so you get what you spend

Great instructions. Live the slip resistant pad. Well constructed with sturdy rain covered zippers. Folds away neatly and compactly. Storage bag is a plus. Opens up wide to load easily. Clips to vehicle without damaging paint. Cinches securely to secure luggage. Great for freeing up interior space during travel. Also useful for shipping trips. Didn't hear any noise, flapping, etc., even on highway. Good value
