Just what I wanted! Researched a lot of options and found this one to be an optimal item for a very good price. Looks and works great! Have been able to haul plenty of items on it I otherwise wouldn't have been able to. Fairly easy to install alone, would have been easier with someone else, but no complaints. Hi, If you're thinking of roof-crossbars for your Mazda CX-5, look no further. These crossbars are rock-solid, easy to install, and a reasonable price. I installed them in under 1-hour and they look sporty. They seem quite strong, and since the span is short, I'm sure they can handle any task. Small gripe--the provided allen wrenches are small and not fun to work with, but they get the job done. Assuming none of the screws loosen over time, i rate this product 5+ stars! I’ve had these on my 2018 Mazda CX-5 for over two years now and they’re great! Install took about two hours and was a bit tedious with the spacing, but after that they’ve been great and I’ve had no issues with the large Yakima box I keep on top of these things.

Install is simple even no references that useless doc. The complains I have is the hex ranch or the match screw seems to be designed 1 or 2 times used. The most difficult install is to use the hex ranch to tight down. Once install, it is very solid as I am experienced cross bar installer.

I'm very happy with the cross bars. They look just like the Mazda bars and are a whole lot cheaper. They fit on my Mazda factory roof rails perfectly. My only gripe is that the instructions don't mention at all the 8 set-screws that go on the underside of the brackets. You need to screw these into the assembled cross bars before you put the bars on the car otherwise you will have a heck of a time trying to turn them in, working upside down with the little supplied angle torx tool shown. Screw them in almost all of the way but don't tighten them completely until you have the bars on the car and inserted and tightened the 8 black torx screws that connect the bars to the rails. Then you need only turn that little wrench a few turns on the set screws. Also get yourself a screw driver that has a T-30 torx bit, it will make it a lot easier to tighten the larger black screws into the rails. ... show more

For whatever reason, these really whistle a lot on our Mazda. I'm not sure what the solution is but I'm tempted to remove them. As is, it's discouraging is from opening the moon roof primarily due to the wind noise they generate.
