I sleep comfortably on this thing and mainly purchased it based on price. I would recommend buying it if you need something economical and don't mind sleeping on the floor. My frame of reference is that I am raised in midwest america and grew up sleeping on typical American beds. It's similar to a high quality mattress topper and reminds me in structure of those cushion pads that you tie onto outdoor chairs. have always preferred sleeping flat. I like a firm mattress. I sometimes don't even use a pillow under my head because I like to be completely straight from head to toe. If you can relate to that, you will probably sleep comfortably on this. Be aware not to leave this on the floor for extended periods without anything underneath it to provide air circulation, as you want to prevent moisture buildup.

Most things I purchase on Amazon I end up having to return for more reasons than I’d like to explain. This, however is one of the few items I am totally satisfied with. I don’t think I’ll ever buy a mattress again. I can roll this up and move it from room to room. It’s great for my back. I’ve been sleeping better and waking up happier. I use a duvet over over it. I love it.

Since I didn't have an extra bed, I made the decision to purchase a futon mattress for the two children who were staying as guests. To my delight, the children absolutely adored it, and they enjoyed three peaceful nights of sleep on it. What I found particularly appealing about this futon is the cotton cover, which offers a more comfortable and breathable sleeping experience compared to its polyester counterpart. As an added bonus, it perfectly accommodates a standard size twin/full duvet cover. After my guests departed, I effortlessly folded it up and stored it in the closet, ready for its next use this week when another guest will be staying over, this time on top of my sofa bed. Just one piece of advice: allow it at least two days to reach its fluffiest state after receiving it.

The futon arrived earlier than originally forecasted so that was a nice surprise. Packaging was great and the futon is clean and no foul odors. Let it air out for a few days so as let it "fluff" out but no fluffing out, so it is really 3 inches thick. Despite thar thickness it is comfortable, and I sleep better, and my wife is happy with it too. Good value and I recommend it.

Our friends said this product was much better than an air mattress but were very glad that we had also put a thick memory foam mattress pad underneath.
