The screws were hard to line up but wasn’t to bad. I don’t like how they don’t fit exactly up to the edge of of the front window. Overall I had 2 kayaks and traveled to Michigan on a 30 hour drive with no issues at all. I noticed that the black after 2 months is already fading though.

    • Fitting and water sealing.
Looked at some of the prior customer reviews and thought I’d give this a shot. Like most reviews say the holes won’t match up perfectly. Keeping all the hardware loose is a must until all the bolts are started. As for the sealant that comes with the kit I used a heavy amount on all of the holes and gaskets hoping to keep everything sealed from water. Sadly I checked the truck out after a storm and the inside was soaked. Tried using thread tape and blue monster dope to seal up the screws and silicone to cover the exterior bolts. So far everything is dry. All in all I should’ve sealed everything to begin with but I figured the gaskets and sealant would be enough. However I would say the OEM kit for a $100 more is worth it.     • Not great but not terrible
All I all I think it was fine. Installation took some time because the instructions were in English but were written by someone who doesn’t speak English. A lot of the bolts wre a pain to get in and it never even mentions what to do with the medium sized bolts but luckily.

the holes on the rack did not line up very well with the holes on my truck made a 30 min job turn into an hour and 30 min job.

    • Great value for the cost
Was easy to install and looks great just has a little gap with the seals that meet the roof but isn’t too much of a eye sore. You’ll forget about it cause from a distance looks flawless.

As with many reviews the holes didnt line up properly. I had to dremel some to line it up as close as possible. It was off enough that one of the cross bars still doesn't line up. The plastic clips provided are smaller than the holes on the mounting brackets. So much so that it doesn't even hold. I had to buy larger clips and it still doesn't hold. Overall this is a classic case of "you get what you pay for". I'd advise to purchase somewhere else. ... show more
