Product was very simple to install. In order to get The rubber sleeves to slide over the connecting joints with screws I sprayed Olive oil onto a paper towel and then wiped it over the bars so that the sleeves would slide easily and place otherwise they can be very tough. Make sure all your screw holes lineup before fastening them. I had to flip the rack to make sure they lined up in all the proper places. Your roof rails to see if there are Pre-drilled holes to adjust the crossbars. I had to drill holes to make this fit. Once on it Appears very sturdy. I don't anticipate any rust issues with the powder coated finish. Very good for the price. I priced one at the dealership and they wanted $900 for the rack and install which I thought was absolutely ludicrous. It helps to have two people. I would recommend this product

I SWEAR I DID NOT CARRY A CAMEL ON THISIS THING YET IT PI RUST ALL OVER THE ROOF. OTHER THAN THAT, I CLOCKED MY FULLY LOADED SUV , AND MILEAGE DROPPED FROM 24mpg TO 22.5mpg FROM START TO STOP. WILL HAVE TO CHECK AGAIN IF I HAVE TO RUN AWAY FROM ANOTHER BORDER TOWN. THIS NEEDS WEEP HOLES AT BOTTOM TUBES BC I SEALED ALL JOINTS WITH SILICONE AND GOD KNOWS HOW CAMEL PI GOT INTO IT.

It came damaged. One part of the rack was bent. I wanted to return it and get a different one. Hubby felt a replacement would not come in time for our trip. The poles would not go into fit inside because of how it was bent. Hubby had to take a rubber mallet we take camping and hit it until it fit. We used it for our trip. The net was too small but we made it work. We did not use the cargo bag for this trip. Coming back home one of the bolts had gotten loose. Not sure if it was our error or what. But it was hitting the roof of the car. Leaving a mark. Let's see if our next trip in May goes better with the roof basket.

Was great until I noticed rust drips on the roof of my car. The rack has poor paint coverage in the welds and are rusting within the first week of being in the car. The rust is dripping on the cars paint. Unacceptable quality for any metal item made to be outside for any period of time.

This basket got rust all over roof of my car. I installed it last weekend, difficult to get it straighr/level. It's been raining daily (spring) and noticed today there are rusty orange runoff lines all down my panoramic sunroof and sides of car. Not very useful to have a vehicle accessory that can't handle some rain.
