As the reviews say this stereo is perfect, fairly easy install, I did have to shave down som plastic on the factory bezel where the screws make contact on new stereo to get it to sit flush but with a die grinder that was easy, every thing was plug and play as stated, factory back up camera works perfect and you can actually see now since the screen is twice the size or more than factory, sound is great, added a amp and sub at same time and messed with the equalizer setting to get everything dialed in and the sound quality even with factory door speakers is amazing. Radio works just as good as it did with factory stereo. Car play is awesome. A lot of features I still need to figure out like how to get the buttons to stay lit up all the time and how to put a custom background picture but that’s all little stuff that doesn’t really matter too much. All in all this is a great upgrade and I would not hesitate to order. Final note is I can confirm customer service is some of the best I’ve had with any product I’ve ever purchased! ... show more

I had the standard stock radio which was annoying on many levels. It sounded like garbage, which I blamed on the speakers. Every time you got in the truck it auto tuned to Sirius xm which I don’t use. So you were greeted with crappy advertisements for xm radio. Often at very loud volumes since that’s where I left the volume when I got out. I was a little leery about doing this myself as I don’t touch new vehicles. I’ll work on a 1970 but not these things. After reading other people’s reviews I took the leap and went for it. I’m so glad I did. Super easy install. Instructions are terrible IMO but they all are. If you really study the flyer that comes in it, it will clear it up some. What you can’t understand their support will clear up for you. Very wonderful support person, with a 12 hour time difference, so you have to work around that. But she helped me tremendously. Main issue I had was the backup camera not working. That’s because I didn’t hook it up. Because I didn’t read the flyer properly. Anyhow, it was easy to install and the sound is incredible. It wasn’t the speakers, it was the radio. And no more xm advertising. The volume is automatically lowered so when you get in it’s not blasting anything. I used iPhone so Apple car play worked great. Backup camera screen is much larger and clearer than the little factory radio. Overall a great great purchase. I love this thing. And the support. ... show more

Very nice display. Everything works as advertised. It’s snappy and consistent. Very easy to install, 100% plug and play. No modifications are required. So everyone knows, the OEM radio has four plugs: the main harness (black), USB (gray) Sirius XM (yellow), and Am/Fm Antena (white). I thought the Sirius XM connector was for the back up camera, it’s not. The backup camera video will be in the harness, you simply need to connect it to the appropriate wiring harness on the receiver. Over all pretty easy to install, fit and finish is great. Huge improvement over OEM. I would recommend this product to other Ram owners. ... show more

    • Excellent upgrade!! Purely Plug-and-Play!!

So far, I’m loving my new head unit! I actually have recommended this to several of my friends who are owners of Ram trucks! Installation was a breeze! Took me about 1 hour to complete the install and that’s including wiring up a new front view camera. One thing I have to say about this unit is there is TONS of options that a stock head unit doesn’t provide. Apple CarPlay, Android auto, better equalizer, online and offline Navigation, plus many more. A big selling point for me was the fact that I was able to retain all of my factory menus that were included in the stock Uconnect head unit that came with the truck, along with my OEM backup camera. I do not have the volume control buttons on my steering wheel, but I do have the voice command button and the phone button which are now linked to Siri while using CarPlay and the phone button assists with answering calls and hanging up. One major thing I want to note, when I initially installed the new head unit I followed the instructions provided to set up the canbus by selecting my vehicle type. Doing this did not immediately make the vehicle options menu or steering wheel controls operable. I initially thought there was some additional wiring that I needed to do or an update that I needed to do to the canbus, so I reached out to the Navifly team and Levy kindly responded with some suggestions on how to troubleshoot the issue. I realized after talking to Levy that I needed to reboot the unit after making my selections in the car model menu to get the functionality of the car options and steering wheel controls. Super simple! In conclusion this is an excellent product, looks great, works great, and has a ton of options with retaining all of the factory options and controls!
