I usually don't like most newer Christmas bulbs because they don't seem as bright as the ones from the 1970s when I was a kid. But these ones are actually nice and bright, I have a White tree and they light it up really nice. They do put off a little heat, but not so hot you can't touch them even after being on all day. I bought 2 strands of them & every light works just fine & they come with 2 extra bulbs for each strand of 25 bulbs. Also, if you unscrew one, the rest stay on and the connection to connect to another strand of 25 is very secure & has a sleeve that screws over the connection so it can't come unplugged. The original order was great. I got the C9 larger bulbs with the white wiring. They looked great on my deck, so I reordered and they sent me the C7 smaller bulbs. Wrong. I sent in the return info. Then I thought I might like them for my small inside tree. When I plugged them in, they got really hot really fast. I unplugged quickly. So you might get good, or not. You decide. Update: The seller reached out to me and is sending me a refund for the C7 bulbs. Very good customer service. The larger bulbs are beautiful and I recommend them.     • Take the Burn warning seriously

These get HOT fast. Like dangerous to touch anything or be near anything. We tried using them for a photoshoot and almost burnt the client. Even for outdoor use I would be concerned and make sure they are far away from anything that could possibly catch on fire. They look nice.
