This hose is exactly as described. If you need a super heavy duty hose then I suggest you find one of the many heavy duty hoses. This is great for gardening, filling hot tubs, pools, spraying down decks and sidewalks. It fits get in small spaces and retracts just as described.

I was tired of hauling buckets of water to fill my wading pool in my backyard. I got an adapter for my kitchen sink (also here on Amazon) and this hose. I live in a small apartment with a small patio and no outdoor tap, so this hose appealed to me because it was long enough (75โ) and came with a way to store it. Iโve used the hose once so far and it was a total success. I did notice the hose starts to contract when you use the sprayer nozzle, but the hose was long enough that is didnโt cause an issue. I already knew I had to unroll the whole hose before use because it came with instructions saying to do as much. Also, I needed the whole length to reach my pool. It doesnโt reach my plants to water them because of the contracting issue, but I have a watering can for that.

I decided to give this hose a try due to the ease of which I've seen them being used before. I have this heavy duty long garden hose, that is built like a truck, but also weighs as much as one! I wanted something that would be easy to just grab, give a quick spray, and put up. This review is basically for two different parts. 1. The hose. 2. The nozzle. As far as the hose goes it definitely is light weight and very mobile. It flexes easily even while pressurized. I did not experience any kinks while using it during my test, but I could see where this design may succumb to kinks/knotting more than my heavy hose. The ends look to be brass with a convenient shut off just before the nozzle. Speaking of the nozzle. It has a very nice selection of spray options and seems to be tough enough to be dropped without fear of breaking. The one thing that I did notice was that the "stream" or "jet" setting, did not produce as long of a stream as the "firehose" nozzle that I had connected to my old hose. Not a huge deal, but I figured I would note it. *Side note* I didn't really bother with the holder that came with the hose at it seemed pretty cheap and I wouldn't use it to store my hose anyways. Overall as long as this holds up well I have been happy with my purchase.

Lasted 1 year, then sprung a leak about 4 feet in. Hose was great while it worked, maybe couldn't hang 2 texas summers without cracking?

Hose reel is basically useless. Must unreel entire hose to use and re-reel to store. Need to add a washer to control profuse leaking between hose and faucet connection (my faucet is newly installed). Okay for light garden watering.
