A simple, practical and economical clock for kitchen or office, and quiet. No ticking. On one AA battery. I chose the silver rim. Don’t mind that it’s plastic rim. Skip the bells and whistles and fancy number fonts you can’t read anyway. This does the trick.

Please note that it can take up to 5 days for this clock to set itself to the correct time (the instructions are NOT clear about this fact). When it first arrived I thought it was defective because, although the hands would move around and stop at 12, it wouldn't then continue to set the correct time. So I hung it on an interior wall of my house that faces west (I live on the east coast) and eventually it found the timing signal from Colorado and set itself. The clock face is very nice and easy to read (it's the 10 inch in diameter face) and it seems to be keeping the time accurately so far (it's only been a few weeks). ... show more
