I have too say am very impressed!! Iāve had in the pass 2 kickers L7 also 2 12 JL ās Iāve own plenty of 12 inch speakers with plenty of cheater amps Iāve Ben around the block as Iāve right now I still have a few cheater amps put away i still have 1 kicker ZR1000 and a ZR600 also a few ADS amps ..I own a Audi b8.5 I didnāt want to put 2 12ās in my trunk this time I wanted to upgrade the factory 10 inch subwoofer and a separate amp just for the 10 inch sub.. so I bought this 10 inch and I installed it where the factory sub was on the back top wow it almost didnāt fit I didnāt realize it was tall but it did.. I also sealed everything back there I used my alpine cheater amp as itās only one Chanel And small amp itās pushing 700 watts perfect for the speaker..the speaker i got was 10K9D4 4ohms wired to 2 ohms . this set up sounds nice it hits very low I have to say am impressed how it sounds.. some of my friends that have 2 12ās in there trunk couldnāt believe I was pushing 1 10 inch.. anyone reading this that donāt know to much about stereo systems keep in mind that a good brand amp comes a long way and keep in mind I have 4 cheater amps one of my amps is a true rms 1000 watt and I didnāt install that because itās only 1 10 inch subwoofer and the most Iāll give this speaker is 600 to 700 watts Without blowing the speaker and trust me thatās plenty for one 10 inch this setup hits good in every music I throw at it ..I never owned 10 inch speakers I always went with 2 12inch ..now if I bought 2 of these speakers then I would of used my ZR600 cheater amp I still wouldnāt use the ZR1000 I would only use my ZR1000 if I had two 12ās my point is u donāt need to use a kicker ZR1000 cheater amp on 1 10 inch subwoofer u will blow this speaker ..I donāt understand y companies say 3000 watts on a speaker when true rms is 600 watts it confuses the newbies.. hope this helps someone That doesnāt know to much ..agin for the price of this speaker u can beat it ..I went with speaker because I didnāt want a box in my trunk o I forgot to mention I had a 10 inch kicker 8 ohm speaker with the factor amp before I installed my alpine cheater amp and this monster subwoofer ..5 stars for this speaker good price and well built speaker and very very fast shipping Update 2021 I ended up buying a second one these speakers with a good amp pounds I only had 1 at first I replaced the factory 10 inch to this speaker and I sounds like I have 2 12 inch subs in my car every one that hears it canāt believe the setup I have it hits nice I bought a nother one thatās how good these speakers are I have no complaint I canāt believe how well made these speakers are for the price . This subwoofer (10" K9 series) has truly blown me away! I usually dont write reviews but I wanted to add some clarity to the product reviews. I kept reading reviews like "Best cheap subwoofer out there" which didn't give me a good understanding of this sub. So far in the last few years I started with a 10" sub with a box from auto zone which was weak and distorted at high volume. Then I switched to a pyle 12" and after I blew that I got a kicker comp series 12" all of which were cheaper than this sub by a fair amount. The kicker was a very good sub IF you want outrageous amounts of bass. What I mean by that is that the bass would constantly overtop the treble. I like bass but it should be balanced out with the music. This K9 series I went with the 10" to try to fix that issue and it certainly did. The bass this sub produces is very clean and crisp. When I listen to rap it can still shake the hell out of the car, but it can also do those quick kicks to the chest. So overall the performance is outstanding. I believe the people that are saying this is the best cheap sub are refering to the quality of the sound it produces which cannot be replicated by cheaper subs. The build quality of this sub is also outstanding, it is a truly heavy duty sub.

The media could not be loaded. put 4 of these into a 2002 ford ranger extended cab, along with a full interior audio system. the box dimensions i used were 25x25x14ā. the box was strapped to the back wall of the truck for seat clearance. powering these subs are 2 Rockville RVA-m3 amplifiers. 2 sets of 2 subs are wired at 1 ohm to two different box wire connectors with all 4 subs firing the same direction. this thing hits HARD and DEEP. it sounds very balanced with a good tune, eq, and low pass settings. iād 100% recommend these

I bought this 15 inch sub to replace what is now two different blown subs. Each of the previous ones had slightly different musical qualities to them and I had had the first one for over 25 years, so was really accustomed to how it sounded. This sub impresses in all the right ways. I have it powered with a Rockford Fosgate amp that produces 300W RMS @ 2ohm which is more than enough to get this bumping hard. I studied a lot of reviews before buying. All of them pointed to the quality materials and construction but warned about running these too hard. My setup appears to be a good sweet spot. Running it on the lower power end like I am easily explains the weaker hit at the extremes of the dynamic range, which could likely be improved with a tuned enclosure but I have no complaints and dont intend to change anything. I have it in a sealed box and all in all this will provide the deep boom you want out of a 15 inch sub, at an affordable price. I can easily overpower the rest of my system with bass notes if I turn this up. And I enjoy the sound it provides in all types of music from classical (the cannons in the 1812 overture) to the old western classics of Hank Sr and the boomy rap rock/metal I love. And it's shaking the heck out of my F150 super cab! I might need to track down and try to dampen out a few new rattles!

I have two 8 in a box separated in size .85 total volume per speaker. 500 watt @ 4 ohms. Best bang for the buck. Very impressive! Sound, and volume are impressive. 2013 subaru brz, pioneer nex w4500, factory speakers. I can rock or boom, Rush STP or Nicky. Really a good combo, and yes iām anal. I like it clean and loud!
