rockville subs are truly cheap and super fun and loud. get a good box and amp for them, used them for 2 years and all though those winters and they still sound just as good as when i got them, they arnt gonna blow out your windshield but man they are super fun and loud and they do sound really good with the music ... show more

I bought the sub it took a little while for it to get in but was worth the wait. I have it in a Qpower 12 box with a JL audio amp and this sub rattles my entire truck and it very clear. The sub hits all the notes perfectly. It pairs with my door speakers very well and everything sounds amazing I have it in a 96 ram and it sounds really good I highly recommend this sub for the great price. ... show more

I purchased this sub because, unfortunately, the Punisher wouldn't fit behind the seat of my dodge with a proper box, however I am not disappointed! The only down fall, if you're a cheap as* like me and buy the slim, behind the seat, $50 box: you're gonna need to massage the opening a very small amount. And you're gonna need a spacer ring. Outside of that I can't wait to get a better amp driving this thing. Currently using a Rockville DB12, going to a Skar 800.1D. Even with the DB12 running it on 4ohms, it moves a hell of a lot more air than my little kicker comp 10 did! Only reason for 4 stars, I don't have a proper amp driving it yet. I'm hoping it beats the windows out of my megacab! Update: I have a Skar RP800d.1 driving this thing now and it is outstanding! My only complaint would be a power off "pop", but I believe that is the nature of the Amp or maybe a symptom of having more power driving a sub than I've ever personally owned. This sub rattles my megacab and it's pure amusement. Kids love it, I love it, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this sub, just supply it with the proper amount of power. ... show more

Definitely happy with this woofer..I was kinda skeptic but Im not any more...I put it in a box that literally is just big enough to fit in barley and it still sounds really good and handles the power easy ...Im sold....I just bought another one to put in my other car..

Can not handle rated power. Smoked after 3 days. Powered by an Alpine mrv-500 at 2ohm’s with gain set to 50 percent. Replaced a Kicker comp-c that I have had in several vehicles and have used for over 15 years. Will never buy products from Rockville again. Thought I would give them a try but it didn’t work out for me. ... show more

The frame on this thing is bigger then you would expect. Had to trim the opening on my box to get it to fit. But I have 2 of these under the back seat in my GMC Sierra and they sound absolutely amazing.
