This subwoofer (10" K9 series) has truly blown me away! I usually dont write reviews but I wanted to add some clarity to the product reviews. I kept reading reviews like "Best cheap subwoofer out there" which didn't give me a good understanding of this sub. So far in the last few years I started with a 10" sub with a box from auto zone which was weak and distorted at high volume. Then I switched to a pyle 12" and after I blew that I got a kicker comp series 12" all of which were cheaper than this sub by a fair amount. The kicker was a very good sub IF you want outrageous amounts of bass. What I mean by that is that the bass would constantly overtop the treble. I like bass but it should be balanced out with the music. This K9 series I went with the 10" to try to fix that issue and it certainly did. The bass this sub produces is very clean and crisp. When I listen to rap it can still shake the hell out of the car, but it can also do those quick kicks to the chest. So overall the performance is outstanding. I believe the people that are saying this is the best cheap sub are refering to the quality of the sound it produces which cannot be replicated by cheaper subs.     • The voice coil was the only weak point of this speaker everything else held up
The subwoofer is by far the best sub I have ever paid for a dollar for dollar the sound the bass everything was perfect only lasts me about a year pushing 2,000 W through it every single day until the voice coil literally melted I cracked and split two speaker boxes with this speaker

Greatest speakers I've bought for the price. I've tried multiple 10 inch subwoofers and nothing compared. Had skar and wdx and both blew on 2500 Brutus Hifonics. Well I didn't blow the skar but it was popping on the way towards blowing

Great value. This 10inch sub is very well built and is handling every bit of the dB16 Rockville Amp. (I have a Destroyer 15D2 wired in parallel with this sub to the amp - 4k watts to each sub at peak). This little monster absolutely slaps and performs extremely well. If you want to get loud without breaking the bank, these Rockville subs are the way to go. I have this hooked up in my 014 BMW 535i Let me know if you have any questions about install. ... show more

I am using this in a home sub woofer setup, and it is awesome. I am driving it with a BASH 500S amp, and it gets with it. The 3,500 watts this thing claims don't do it or you will release the magic smoke its just a marketing ploy, but treat it right it should last a life time oh and this thing is built like a tank. It is professional consumer grade quality and a good buy for the money. I have a pro grade sub woofer and there are differences but not many. I recommend it! ... show more

Great subs but they didn't fit in any of the 10 inch boxes I have and had to make the openings of one box larger. Now they are hitting hard and sound amazing.
